Thx for the correction for the term used on a female dog. First dog I own. So I get it, she will not bleed again, since I have her in my apt, so I did not want her leaving blood all over the place!!

First of all, females are spayed, not neutered...

She will no longer have a heat cycle, her Uterus will be gone.
And, not trying to make you feel stupid, everyone has to learn by asking, but the term you are looking for is Spayed. Males are neutered.

No. When they spay a dog they take out everything. Also, only males can be neutered, females are spayed.

When the veterinarian spays a female dog her uterus and ovaries will no longer be in her body. Therefore no heat cycles and no "period".

A spayed female will not come into heat again.

No. She will not come into heat, nor will she bleed. Her female organs will be removed, so she will no longer produce eggs or come into heat at all. She will be much healthier and happier as a result.

Well, first of all you want to get her spayed and secondly, no. If you spay your female she will not come in heat, that is the idea!

It's like a woman getting her ovaries removed, she will never have her period- same with a female dog.

You can't get a female neutered. Sorry.

However, once she's *spayed*, no, she won't get her period (she won't have the bits to get it).
