I have heard some pretty funny nicknames and I have a few for my own dogs so in all fairness, here they are:

Real name: Scout (standard poodle)
Nicknames: Scoop, Scoopy, Pouches (I have no idea where this one comes from, Scoo, Scootches, Printchess (a form of princess), Scoutiest

Real name: Maya (10 month old golden reriever)
Nick names: Maya-Moo, Mooey, Moo-cow , Moose, Moose, Booger, Bluey (or Blue)

Real name: Charlie (lab mix)
Nick Names: Chuckles, Chuckley, Chewy, Chew

So when refrencing all three, I will often say Moo, Scoo, and Chew

na i'd rather tell you about the blessed DOG of GOD.

because some pope in the far future had a DOG, and the DOG got ahold of the popes ROSARY, and chewed it up, God told the DOG, GOD would always be with him. And to this very day you always see GOD with DOG(in reverse). And why did GOD reward the DOG with His presence(remember the bible said it's a reward to be with GOD)? Because when the DOG chewed up the ROSARY, it left the following at the popes feet. I D\OS /ARY. In that way the mystery of God's name was revealed to the pope. Of course the pope hated it, cause he was used to being treated like a God.

hopefully thats an amusing native canadian story about how the DOG was blessed by GOD.

Felix is actually my cat but it got shortened into Fi fi
Then there is my Basset pup named baxter but I called him munchykin so much that he wont answer to anything else! lol
My pit's name is Tyson but his nickname isn't wierd or embarassing, ty ty.

What is really embarrasing is the way my hubby and I address all of our pets in baby voices when its just us at home! ;) lol
