I agree with your logic. Some immigrants do deserve redemption or a second chance. The reason why some Americans Negates immigration is because of ignorance and insufficient funds. Besides it seems so old fashion the way people are thinking now. I mean come on! the future of America is going to be a truly diverse nation. (by year 2050)

First off, the United States is not NEGATIVE about immigration - that is self evident in the sheer number of different cultures and ethnicity that make up the population of American citizens.
America has always had a large population of LEGAL immigrants - they followed the rules and battled the red tape and became naturalized - in short, they learned the language and became Americans.
How can America, or any other country for that matter, sustain a nation of laws when millions of people literally flaunt these laws and the country turns a blind eye? Yes, America certainly isn't blameless - amnesty once and now we face the same concerns once again. What did we expect?
Personally, I believe that some kind of legislation which would allow the illegals now in this country to become citizens should be passed - but not until we have secured the border - other wise, history has shown that we will just revisit this problem again at a later date. This solution assumes that these illegal immigrants WANT to learn our language and customs and become legal, US citizens - and lately, that's really debatable.

Unfortunately, I think many employers want to keep these people illegal because they don't have to pay them as much if they aren't citizens. This, to me, is the biggest problem. If these people would go through the government and report how many immigrant workers they need, the government could get a handle on how to best deal with the situation.
If all of them are given amnesty, we have no idea what the effect will be because we don't even know who or how many are here. Plus they will just keep pouring over here. I think you are wrong about the race issue. The same thing happened years ago when the Irish came over by the millions. You don't realize how it upsets the applecart when approximately 5% of our population is undocumented. That is why soveriegn countries have immigration quotas so they have control of who is here. All countries try to control immigration. To make my point, Mexico automatically imprisons anyone who is caught there without proper documentation. Are they being racists?

America is a country of immigrants, to this day we embrace immigration. But those immigrants came hear legally, and not only were they processed but they were screened against diseases. because of this we knew who they were and if they were ill they would either be treated or denied entry and sent home. (Yes sick people were denied entry into the U.S.)
If they come here over the border breaking our laws and ignoring our culture then they are illegals and not immigrants, but trespassers.
If someone moved into your house, started to eat your food, ignore your feelings and occasionally cleaned your house or mowed your lawn, but you did not give them permission to move in, would it be wrong of you to have them evicted or arrested for breaking and entering? Or would that be racist?
I am married to a Filipina, I have friends who are Mexican, Iranian, Israeli, and Nigerian. When I interact with someone it almost never enters my mind what race they are, yet you dare to call me racist.
It is not racist to want our sovereignty respected and out laws obeyed. We can not simply give a blanket amnesty to these people and say it is all fixed. If we were to suddenly legalized all who are hear illegally today, tomorrow we would have 10,000,000 more illegal immigrants. So simply legalizing them does not fix the problem. Going by your logic the only way to truly fix the problem was if we to forcibly enter Mexico and take over the government and make them a part of the U.S. then we could make all of Mexico, American citizens, but then we would have illegals flowing in from central and South America the way we do from Mexico now, so where does it stop.
We must fix the system! To do that we must enforce our laws and secure the border. We must deport those who are here illegally who break our laws, and only after we are sure our government is serious about protecting our borders, and only after we are sure of this can we start to talk about some form of legalization for those who are still here.
This will cost us billions in the long and short run, it will not save us billions in police and judicial work because very little police and judicial work is being done.
However, they are coming into our country undercutting salaries of legal immigrants and Americans and paying little to no taxes, all the while burdening our education, health and infrastructure systems. Since they pay little in taxes they are not making any sort of significant dent in the costs they are racking up.

Please look up the word "racist" so you can use it correctly.
Those of us who want all illegal aliens deported are not racist. We want them ALL deported, not just illegal aliens of any specific race.
We're negative toward the concept of legalizing criminals, because they're criminals. This country has always welcomed LEGAL immigration, and that has not changed.
The only thing you got right is that it would cost a small fortune to deport all the illegal alien criminals we have in the U.S.A. However, the cost of not deporting them is too high. Legalizing them would only encourage more millions of criminals to come here.

Large-scale immigration is never popular with natives. It's just human nature to be a little resentful when outsiders move into your 'space.' It's not even a matter of national borders or race. The white 'Okies' of the 30s were not well-recieved by native Californians, for instance, even though they were majority-white, as well, and even spoke (aproximately) the same language, and were citizens of the same nation.
The same was true for European immigrants in the past, they may have been white, but they spoke different languages, and they faced a good deal of resistance and resentment when they first came over. They did come over legally, for the most part, though, and they assimilated. They no longer face discrimination.

This country is made up of laws. When you break a law you pay the piper. The people that follow the law of the land are rewarded for it.The people that break the law and are getting a free ride on the backs of hard working Americans, should be shipped out of this country. This illegals are putting stress on decent neighbor hoods and city services. They are breaking the law and race has nothing to do with the problems they cause. The slave labor supposedly was stopped with the civil war being fought with American fighting against American. But big business still enjoys slave labor around the world.Follow the rule of the land!

The issue is and will always be availability and distribution of resources.
Throughout the history of the United States, there has been sufficient resources to incorporate any person that wanted to immigrate.
Population increase and other factors make it impossible to sustain a policy of unlimited immigration.
There has to be some control over it or a lot of negative things can happen.
The solution isn't to send everyone back or send them through the justice system. All we need to do is make it so expensive for employeers, outside of certain industries, to get caught hiring an illegal immigrant of any background, that they won't do it.
Not agreeing with the US immigration policy isn't racist - it's just not agreeing with the US immigration policy.

The government does send them back but that is not necessary. They are not here to become Americans. They are here to take whatever they can get. Once we secure the border and eliminate employers who hire them, they will go home. You're the racist if you think we don't have the right to demand immigrants come here legally. We offered amnesty in 1983 when 3 million were here, very few chose to become citizens and now we have over 12 million illegals. Amnesty without secure borders does not work.

How about you explain what is so wrong with a sovereign nation wanting to have a secure border and control over how many people may enter over time?
Every other country on the planet has these things. Why not the USA?
And while you're at it, how about acknowledging that there is a difference between LEGAL Immigrants and ILLEGAL Immigrants?
