sorry, but I would HIGHLY recommend you get the cat to a vet. Colored discharge is a sign of infection.
Chances are it is just an upper respiratory infection, but there are viruses out there as well that can cause problems. You need to know exactly what is going on with an eye before you can attempt to treat it or you risk losing the eye.

Green discharge from any orifice is a sign of infection. You need to take the poor baby to the vet and get it some antibiotics. If you let it go it could possibly go blind, or the infection can spread, the eyes are very close to the brain and you don't want it to spread there.

I foster cats and alot of them get these eye infections. They do require meds to clear it up. The vet can give it to you. The most common med is an eye ointment called "Terramycin". You usually have to put it in the eyes twice a day for 10 days. But get the cat to the vet b/c it can be infectious to other animals!

Take the cat to the vet. he will probually give you special eyedrops.put a colth soaked in warm water and put it on the eye

sounds like a cold, wipe its eyes with a warm wet cloth ,then rub a small amount of vaseline across its eyes, it will help .
