Basal cell moles are part of the skin. They sometimes get started by sun exposure and become mutated, so they don't play well with others. Not the uncontrolled growth of cancer, but such a mole might itch or get caught on your clothes or something. (or just be where you don't want it, like the middle of your face)

that would be BASAL cell....these cells found in moles are an indicator of potential for basal cell carcinoma or skin cancer.

Are you talking about basal cell carcinoma? It is a type of cancer.
