Hopefully there is a family member to tell them where their dentist was. Otherwise, insurance records and where they live can help narrow it down. Also certain types of dental work, like fillings, have changed over the years so can indicate where and when it was done. Like say, Russia in the 50's.

Yes there is a central database that holds most if not all medical records (which includes dental records) that is used for statistics, insurance companies, and can be used for forensics.

Cause their idiots and take Adam's word for it like Adam is such a truthful honest person yes we can all trust him, boy are they all stupid no one is questioning that Adam identified the body . Victor should be the first to ask questions years ago the same story happened to him when he ended up on Hopes farm they all thought he was dead also, maybe Phyllis will be the one to put two and two together she seems like the only one that can figure out anything on this show, so what if Adam saw the ring on her finger the cops just take his word for it , wow and I thought Heather was the worse DA the new guy is giving her competition lol!

I think it is only a check so if they think it may be a certain person then they can find out their dentist and check to see if it is them.dont think there is a system like fingerprint database they can look at.

Usually this is done when they already have a good idea who the victim might be, and they just want to confirm it.
