Denying marriage rights to homosexuals is discrimination to a sexual minority, thus it is creating a second class by not affirming equal rights.

Agreed. Denying marriage to homosexuals is discrimination and should not be allowed. I cannot believe that this country feels the need to vote on whether a group of people should be allowed a basic RIGHT that is given to every other citizen. Its sickening.
And if people say gay's shouldn't get married b/c they cannnot have kids then what about infertile couples and old people.
And any argument that is based on religion is automatically invalidated b/c the US is based on separation between church and state.
And the arguments that say "well the majority of people feel gays should be allowed to marry so that's what we have to do." Well the "majority" of people felt rascims and slavery were ok but that didn't make it right. Same thing with the gay rights issue people. When is everyone going to realize this.
Gay people are not trying to convert anyone.. And even when gays are allowed marriage the whole world is not going to decide to become gay and our species is not going to die out. Why? B/c we didn't chose to be gay.. that's just the way it is. Would you as a straight person just one day decide to be gay? No b/c you are attracted to the opposite sex.
if you don't like it you don't have to engage in it. But that doesn't mean you have to stop others from perusing happiness.

America has 2nd class citizens! haven't you noticed?
I sure have!!!!! second class citizens are those who are not of Caucasian color ,those of different religion ,other then the religion of the Caucasians or of a different sexual orientation!! - those from a different country and not of the same principle culture or religion of the Caucasians in the United states! And how do I know you ask????? WELL I AM FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY ,OF ANOTHER
RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL BACKGROUND ,I HAVE DARKER SKIN(olive) ,I HAVE AN ACCENT WHEN I SPEAK, I HAVE DIFFERENT WAYS OF LOOKING AT LIFE AS CAUCASIAN AMERICANS DO!
sad isn't it -because while I see nothing wrong with the first class citizens in America I will always just be an Alien and second class!
I am being reminded about once a week what my worth and acceptance is! I hope this helps you see that 2nd class is here already!

If you arn't bothering anybody, you should have all the right in the world to do what you want. Period.
I dont think America should have second class citizens, but its part of the capitalist system. It wont function without the second class.

denying any of it's people the same rights as the majority is wrong. not that long ago, african americans couldn't sit at the same counter as white people.. things will change.. i think all citizens are equal, and should be treated as such.

I would not go that far to say that by baning same sex marriage reduces homosexuals to a second class status.
but I would agree with you that the practice is discriminatory, and harkens back to those saying blacks and whites should not marry.

via fact united statesa.'s meant to be unfastened, and alter into based as a unfastened u . s . a ., yet issues are not consistently the way they are meant to be, and often fall removed from their unique direction.
