An individual who demonstrates that he has abandoned the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses has already disassociated himself from his brothers.
Former Witnesses who disassociate themselves or are disfellowshipped are typically treated in accord with the Scriptural pattern explained in these Scriptures:
(1 Corinthians 5:11-13) Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. ...Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.
(Titus 3:10) As for a man that promotes a sect, reject him after a first and a second admonition
(Romans 16:17) Now I exhort you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.
(2 Thessalonians 3:6) Now we are giving you orders, brothers, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw from every brother walking disorderly and not according to the tradition you received from us.
(2 Thessalonians 3:14) But if anyone is not obedient to our word through this letter, keep this one marked, stop associating with him, that he may become ashamed.
(2 John 10) If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him.
(Matthew 18:17) If he does not listen to them, speak to the congregation. If he does not listen even to the congregation, let him be to you just as a man of the nations
Becoming baptized as a Jehovah's Witnesses is not a trivial step. At a minimum, a student must demonstrate months of regular meeting attendance and public ministry, then must himself express the desire to be baptized. The candidate then spends hours answering hundreds of bible questions wherein he expresses both a clear understanding and personal conviction regarding Jehovah's Witness teachings in at least three separate interviews with three different elders. The candidate must vocally agree to be baptized in front of hundreds or thousands of eyewitnesses, and must be publicly immersed in water. This is not a momentary emotional decision by an unreasoning child. Dedication as a Witness required hard work and determination at the time.

I agree with wondering faith. I think they will change their policy on blood like they did with vaccinations and organ transplant. Then, most likely, the ones who preach that you cant have blood will be thrown out.
Jezebel, they used to be able to smoke in the Organisation (JWs) but then that was something else they changed.

Depends on the mindset of the Governing body. They will be lifting the edict on blood soon.
you used to get disfellowshipped for Organ transplants, and for vaccinations. God changed his mind on these edicts...The Blood edict will be lifted soon.

God said He would help those who help themselves. Where this idea came from (about blood transfusions) is beyond me. Why would anyone WANT to be a JW? If your religion is going to stop you from living it isn't very helpful as a guide for life- and that IS what religion is.

As they say in my culture, "Question to question"
If a JW decides to commit fornication, do they have to leave the church?
(I choose fornication because it too is mentioned at Acts 15:28, 29)
Acts 15: 28,29- "For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!”

Well according to Auchtung NOBODY in the JHVH Witnesses will or should die. He told me today in his answer that "Romans 10: Everyone who calls on the name Jehovah will be saved." "Acts 2:21 And anyone who calls on the name Jehovah will GET AWAY safe."
So no one in the JHVH Witnesses faith ever died of this blood lost. NO ONE DIES.
Auchtung says, "Anyone that does not call the name Jehovah will be CURSED."
So take your pick; either they called on the name and lived or they DID NOT call on the name and died.

if they accept a blood transfusion and do not disclose it to the leadership or their bretheren, they will continue in fellowship, and the matter will be between them and God.
if I were still one, that's how I'd handle EVERYTHING.
