I just don't get it.
I'm jewish but I never ever wished anybody any harm.
Why is this happening?
I just got off youtube and there are so many anti-jews videos on there, it's so horrible.
Surely some jewish people are not so good but this applies to any nation. I really don't thinnk there are more bad jews than there are bad christians or muslims or buddhists

Xians and Muslims are jealous that god chose The Jews to be ‘his people’.

Xians (mostly Catholics) blame/d ALL The Jews for killing ‘their’ Christ.

Muslims hate The Jews cos they ‘took’ Palestine BUT most of all they resent the fact The Jews beat the crap outa them in the six-day war.
The Muslims shoulda won cos they had more men, tanks and planes – they just didn’t have the chutzpah.

There aren’t many Jews (6 million in Israel and 6 million scattered across the globe with most being in US) – never have been – BUT, as a race, y’all have been more successful than any other peoples in most spheres of human endeavours – especially in the media, the arts, the sciences, medicine and philosophy.
Per capita there are more Jewish Nobel Peace Prize recipients than ANY other nationality/race/religion.

Everyone needs someone to hate – it brings the childish mobs together.
Currently USians hate Iraqis and Iranians – it used to be The South, The North, The Blacks, The Germans, The Japanese, The Vietnamese, and The Mexicans - in time it’ll change to The Something else.

BUT you can be assured USians will never hate The Chinese cos there are too many of them and USians aren’t known for their courage – it’s why they make such excellent xians … who hate The Jews.

Persecuting minorities is a time honoured tradition in any culture. It also happens with gypsies for example. The jewish people have miraculously survived millenia of persecution and have managed to do well in any host culture, which adds envy to the normal minority persecution. Add on top of that religious persecution. Persecution of the jewish people was made law in Europe and not just in Nazi Germany. Neo-fascists for some idiotic reason think it has something to do with their politcal convictions, which it actually does not. I guess the hatred was intensified because many people hating jews found that they could not manage without jewish bankers, artists and doctors, which may have fed into their inferiority complexes since few people are as well developed as the jewish people.

The jewish people are of course a bit paranoid because of this and I have suffered their paranoia. More importantly though I have been blessed with their hospitality and pearls of their inspiration and art. I believe this world is a better world because of the jewish people and am grateful because of it. I think it is sad though that there are so many scars on them as a people, which cause them to behave in ways no one, not even they like. I cannot blame them for responding to the torture they were put through, but I am sad none the less.

Besides jewish women are wonderful, so strong, sharp, wise and bright. I do not think that in this lifetime I can repay the kindness the jews have shown me, but I keep on trying.

Unfortunately there is still a lot of anti-semitism in my country (The Netherlands).

First I am sorry you feel badly about this and also want you to know that I grew up in the Jewish tradition and am very proud of that upbringing. My folks used to tell me stories about going places where signs were posted NO JEWS OR DOGS ALLOWED and that had upset me too. I haven't personally experienced anti-Semites but I have seen it all over time and again. Scriptural the reason for this is two fold...The other religions are jealous because the Jews were chosen to go first at the end of days and keep the gates of Heaven (if there is one); and second because the Jews were actually chosen to suffer for the sins of humanity (contrary to the Christian belief that Jesus was sent here to absolve them of sin---inaccurate and wrong). Religion is a choice and I am proud of my Jewish heritage, but I have moved along my spiritual path and chosen to be a Unitarian Universalist...Check us out at WWW.UUA.org. PEACE!

It is sad, but understand it comes from fear.

The Jews have spent the last 4000 years claiming to be God's chosen people. Therefore the rest of humanity are lost.

Its a tough claim to overcome, and causes many people to get a bit upset. Christians found a way around it by hijacking your religions and hitching their belief to it, so they tend to give you a pass.

But other religions might feel as if your claims that they aren't special are a bit offensive.

I don't care either way, there is no God and we as humans should try our best to live good lives and help our fellow man.

For the same reason some people hate blacks or foreigners or gays or women. Some people are just filled with hate and don't care about being fair or reasonable or nice.

Just remember, these people may be loud, but that doesn't mean there are more of them. It's a vocal few, not the majority of humanity. So don't let it depress you, or turn you into a hater too. Just focus on being fair and unprejudiced yourself, and let your good example inspire others.

Jews have been around a very long time. Many of the currently religious belief systems are based on the original Jewish beliefs. They are also smack dab in the middle of hostile territory (religion wise) over in the Middle East. Don't take it personally. No reason to cry.

I know what you mean, unfortunately. To be Jewish you kind of have to have a thick skin, or just an endless supply of people willing to make you smile!

(To that end, I have something for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb6-aGm7jKk)

However, I don't see this being let up any time soon. Just be strong, have a strong Jewish community to support you, and get someone who you can talk to about it.

No true christian will hate Jews. In fact they are supposed to love them as it is from them that Jesus came. He was a Jew and said that salvation was of the Jews.
Satan is very much the enemy of God and because the Jews are Gods' chosen people he hates them and he is the "god" of this world and instigates hate against all that pertains to God.
Satan knows he has only a little time left and during this time he will make things very difficult for Jews and Christians.
Every christian should pray for "the peace of Jerusalem".

I love all races. I think they all r capable of beautiful things but their are individuals in nations who do not chose to follow righteous ways. If any man would say he is of the bible and hate jews or any other race then he hates himself for, u should treat a person the way u want to be treated with love and care. No being is perfect and all r worth of love from the messiah. Keep your head up. You're beautiful and knowing that u love everyone shows your inner beauty also. Let's be pleasing to God not man..........

Sorry hon. But it was prophesied in the Scriptures - both testaments. I am Christian, but I have no hatred for Jews or for any man for that matter. My college roomie was Jewish and he was the best friend I ever had - closer even than a brother.
