Probably just molting. She is getting ready for her new feathers. Do you see little pin feathers, mostly on top of her head? Be careful if your bird likes to have her head scratched, those are very tender for a bird. When they preen themselves, and hit one, you will hear them say "ouch". My cockatiels is molting now, mostly small feathers now, but has lost tail feather, and wing feathers, when they preen, if the feathers are ready to come out, they will and then they drop to the bottom on the cage. It's normal. If the bird doesn't grow the feathers back, then you worry about it.

As some other people have said, she is probably just molting. Usually, birds molt in the fall. Also, it is normal during molting to find many feathers at the bottom of the cage. Soon, she will regain her feathers.
On the other hand, when molting occurs, long feathers are dropped first. If all of the feathers are without-a-doubt small, then she may be stressed. It is also characteristic for birds who are stressed to pull out their own feathers.
I know you want a definite answer, but the door swings both ways on this one, and I wanted to let you know that.

All birds pass right into a molt wherein they lose some feathers, even vast feathers. Your poultry is probably only in that is molting season. no longer something to fret approximately if that is only feathers and would not final very long. maximum birds in the event that they're ill will teach different seen indicators of ailment.

Losing feathers is a sign of stress sometimes, it could also be the lack of something in the birds diet. They have special mixes you can add to your birds food to stop this.
