Although I'm a HUGE Tony Stewart fan..... if his chances weren't hopeless before, they really are now! His whole season has been in the crapper. What an interesting race for the Cup its been though. I guess since there's very little chance that Tony will finish anywhere near the top, I'll root for Johnson. What about you?

No offense taken. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's what makes NASCAR fun.

Stewart is the only driver willing to call Nazi-car what it is, so he is my favorite!
As for the championship, I guess Johson! Lesser of two EVILS! 24 least favorite!
As for Bowyer he would need Johnson and Gordon to wreck in both races and finish in the top 10 in both races! Good luck with that!
24 or 48 will win, which is sad because they are two teams that were caught cheating!

Kyle Busch is running better than Stewart. Maybe Kyle can motivate Stewart in '08. Personally I appreciate people who can find talent in the lesser drivers, instead of jumping on the Jimmy & Jeff bandwagon. A couple of months ago, even after Tony won three races, I decided to jump on the Martin Truex Jr. bandwagon. We'll see what 2008 brings. I'm going to be a DEI fan. I always thought Jimmie Johnson was equal to Tony Stewart. Stewart is still an awesome driver, but I think Jimmie Johnson deserves to win the championship this year. I could already see the pain in Jeff Gordons emotion after Jimmie beat out Matt Kenseth to win at Texas. Racing is like gambling. You can be the best and still lose. You still have to depend on your machine. Some men build better machines. Some men can make a lesser machine beat a better driver. But each driver goes into each race knowing the rules, and the rules are the same for everyone.

No theoretically he is still able to win if;
1-he winds the rest of the races.
2- he leads the most laps.
3- I Jeff and Jimmie stay in Charlotte and do not race the rest of the races.
So he theoretical does have a chance,
but realistically he does not stand a snowballs chance in heyyell.

His chances for the chase are in the crapper, but he can still win races...Lady luck has not been on his side thats for sure..as far as the chase goes I'm rooting for the JD #07 Clint Bowyer...Tony will probably end up in the top 5..

Yep, I'll be rooting for Johnson. I really don't know what happened to Tony this year. He was doing pretty good mid season though. Had a couple wins in a row. Maybe switching over to Toyota next year has messed with his head.
GO JIMMIE

Same here, I just love Tony. I don't think I will root for anyone else though. I do hope Gordon doesn't win but if he does there is always next year.

I know, sadly, the chase is over for him. I am a Jr. fan, and his chances were over a long time ago, so I was rooting for Smoke. He's my 2nd fave. There is always next year. But, with my drivers out of it, I don't have to root for Jeff or Jimmie. There is still Clint! Maybe he can pull it off?????
Go Jr.>>>>
