What is the question?
Do you like to be generalized! you are doing just that, and calling people you don't know names. How nice of you.
chill. if you are a christian then you should know better and not attack your own. If you disagree with some! it doesn't give you the right to attack them.
Give the Missionaries a phone call! to do what! You can call anyone you wish, why should that bother anyone.
I for one when a JW come to my door, I open my door to them, and do give them the time to tell me what they want. They leave and all are happy and respected. I also, have Mormons come to my home, and they too are respected and heard. I say what the harm in it. None. So please don't judge me because you are angry at someone else.
Now Chill for a second, and read this calmly, please.
There is no question that some people do disrespect others. On this site, the people who are mostly disrespected are the Catholic. You are new, you may have not read them, or with all your anger and rage, missed them. But, know this very well. That when those people disrespect Catholic, they also mean you as well. In the Middle East when they speak of the Crusade or anything the Christian done wrong they mean you as well. Now, you are going to get pat on your back for attacking your own, but wait and you will see how when the time comes, those same people who pats you on the back will lash at you quicker than you can say woot.
here is an example. Feast your eyes. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Au.BLFLRJ1qYnB9ntsdod9Td7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20071106162700AAGZil0
Something for you to think about it. How do you know that those people whom you think are attacking others and claiming to be Christians are Christians! You don't know. So, please for God sake get off your soap box and don't judge others. If you believe everything you read! you have a lot to learn.

Of course what some people consider to be wrong others wouldn't. The meaning of the word "wrong" like the word"good" can change , depending on the context in which it is used. For instance, consider this, Walter shot his mother-in-law at a range of 1000 metres. It was a "good" shot but "wrong" for him to do it. Maybe Walter didn't think it was wrong. There most certainly is a distinct right from wrong rule in almost everything. You open a screw jar by turning the cap in the "right" direction, not by smashing it open with a with a hammer, that would be clearly wrong .A simple definition for "wrong" is normally incorrect or untrue, although when used to describe human or even animal behaviour then the word could be classified as an opinion rather than a fact. The discussion could continue indefinitely but I think it would be "wrong" to do so.

I do see this sometimes but you have it all wrong, those people that do that and say that they are Christian and bash on people like that are false Christians and they don't know what they are doing. But for you to say that we Christians do that is just giving all Christians a bad reputation. I don't do that to anyone, and if I did want to try to help someone to become a Christian I would do it in a nice way. I've tryed to do that with my friend, in a very nice way but it didn't work out well. Also, I have never seen a Christian do that on here. Next time you post a question (even though this wasn't even a question to begin with) have some proof of it.

You have to understand that Christian doctrine leads to this kind of behavior.
You are familiar with the platitudes that are given by most pastors, 'Jesus is love, God is Kind, Christians should love onanother etc..' But if you really look at your doctrine, you have to realize that there are many verses in the NT that claim that certain behavior and beliefs lead to eternal damnation.
Basically the God you worship is ready to cast people into eternal torture and fire because of doctrinal misunderstandings. So this causes people to seek 'the truth' and when they think they have found it, they defend it with everything they've got.
You can't really blame them, after all, the God who they plan on spending eternity with, is going to be torturing their friends, family members and neighbors at the same time. There is allot at stake if you are a true believer.
This is what makes faith based religion so dangerous. People are willing to hurt, kill and maim people for eternal security.

Does not warning your neighbor of danger show love for them? Some people take it too far by bashing or criticizing instead of leading them to the truth but loving your neighbor means you have to care about them...care enough to show them where they are wrong in a gentle but direct way. Sometimes, it's not an easy thing to do. A false belief in God will not get you into heaven just as sure as no belief in God. That is why Satan seeks to confuse people about God and His true Word and why we, as Christians need to speak out about it. If not us, who else will do it?

Sadly, there is some truth to what you are saying. It is a fine balancing act between displaying compassion for someone who is being deceived, and being antagonistic. But, the deception is real enough.
In Jesus' day, He stood against false doctrines, but particularly against those who taught it, and led others astray by it. Those who were being led astray rejoiced, in many cases, when they saw someone pointing out the error, and showing the truth. So, while it is important, even crucial, for us as Christians to stand firm for the truth of the Scriptures, and for the true gospel, which ALONE can save men's souls, we need to approach those who do not believe the way we do with compassion. The best way is to understand that most people are being deceived by an enemy (Satan) that they don't even realize exists!
The Bible encourages Christians to be "wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16), because we are sent out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Study the life of Jesus, and see how He dealt with people, and we can learn by His example.

Your a Christian? Wow i can't tell. I personally don't condemn people to hell. I also would not tell them that being a Mormon etc is cool. You are saying Christians bash people in here yet, you bash Christians in your question (wait that hardly qualified as a question). That makes you an idiot just as well. Practice what you preach

Huh - you look like Troy Aikmen.....
Well i only woot woot woot when something exciting happens in my house/family or when i'm excited, not at other religions.
I have never once laughed at a muslim - i have muslim friends.
My cousin in law is Mormon. I don't now their bible or what they teach but know that her entire family turned their back on her because supposedly, Mormons believe in having lots of kids and she had 6 in a 8 year period - this didn't change my mind of her at all, she was fun and nice to me, especially when i was pregnant.
J.W's, i do not for the life of me, agree with their ways but when they knock on my door, i just smile and i say "i'm christian and i will not change, but i hope you have a lovely day and take care now" and we leave it at that with smiles.
There are radicals in every religion - i've seen my fair share of satanical crazy christian people. I'm a quiet christian, i don't preach to people or scream hellelujia (sp?) and i'm open to anything and anyone.
If you treat me with kindess and respect i will give you the same.
Have a good day Biff

Bigotry has many disguises but I think that the term "hypocrite" is more appropriate. I believe that they bible states that "by their works shall ye know them..." If this is the case then they should know what to expect when preaching hate and intolerance rather than love and acceptance. Love and acceptance is what Jesus taught when he was here. He was a Jew...did you ever see him persecuting Jewish religeous tradiations?

How much respect are JW's and Mormon's showing when they come to your door and you say you are Christian? They don't say "yeh, that's cool" and be on their way. They insist that you just don't understand the bible and try to hand you a bunch of pamphlets. As for having no "nice" Christians on yahoo. You guys mocked them, cloned them and then used their faces to ask insulting questions.
