The guns are registered to me. I know that my friends are responsible, but can we get in trouble if I let them borrow my guns? Your thoughts?

I'm going to say no on this one. The gun is registered to you, what if your friend has a momentary lapse in judgment and goes ape $hit? They could end up shooting up a bus stop or what have you... Then what? Not a good idea. Lock them up in a safe place.

Only if they have done something that legally procludes them from owning guns. (i.e. Felony conviction, domestic violence)
If they can legally own guns, they can borrow yours.
Unless, of course, this is a Class II or Class III issue, but you would know about that if it were.

It's almost certainly legal. Unlike the namby-pambies, I wouldn't be as worried about your friends' playing nicely with your guns. I might worry about them getting "misplaced" though. Document everything just in case.

As LONG as they are legally licensed they should be able to HOLD your guns for you. BUT keep in mind that if the gubs are used for any crime it could come back and bite you as they are registered to you and as such you are responsible for them.

unless there is a specific reason in your location not to....at least get them to sign acknowledgment of temporary possession. I t's not always safe overseas so a wills in order as guns can have significant value.

Gun laws vary. Call the county sheriff where you live. I would say yours is not a good idea.

I wouldn't...you may trust your friends, but how about everyone who walks into their home? It's just not worth it.
