You've got plenty of time to join up. Just one thing: why is this question in Military?

You can participate in the Boy Scout section of BSA up until your 18th Birthday.

As a 15-year-old with no prior experience in Boy Scouts, you might consider joining a Venture Crew. This is a group within the Boy Scouts that is geared more towards the older teen and young adult. It is co-ed, and youth may join from 14 to 21 years of age. There are awards (RANGER & SILVER) that are similar to the Eagle Scout award, but most crews just do high-adventure trips and have loads of fun.

Keep on Scoutin'

18. Unfortunately, I know this. While scouting teaches values, it has also become seriously distorted in this nation. Don't join if you support half of liberal ideas and are gay. Then, they'll hate you.
