im just about to go back to the hospital and my babies are gonna be taken off the ventilator in the morning at 9.
im sooo scared and excited at the sametime, i hope they make an effort on their own!

Good luck. I remember when my mom got taken off the ventilator (she went into a coma last year). I remember how happy I was, think of it as a step toward getting home. God Bless.

If they don't do well for some reason, it's quite normal... they go back on oxygen, and then they'll try again.. the ride is very very very difficult for them, BUT they will do it... they need time and a level of patience you never knew before!!
I'm sending ALL the luck in the world to you and to them...
you are one of the bravest women I've ever known... and there's a reason why you were dealt this card in life... because YOU CAN do it...
