Phil,
I do not believe that it will affect the GAMES in any way aside from the fact that there will be some people who will not take part in them. I like to carry my BIBLE to such events not to use it to "convert other" but to read during an open period when nothing worthwhile is going on. Have a wonderful evening and a fabulous week.
Thanks,
Eds

Actually they are putting Bibles in hotel rooms at least for the period of the Olympic Games. And there is printing of Bibles in China... allowable by one company only. So who knows why they have decided to ban the entry of Bibles into the Olympic village. Since they have not banned the Koran it shows just how much fear they have of Christian beliefs. Christianity equates with democracy.

The same way I feel when any book is banned... Distressed, saddened and angry...

I am against censorship...

In looking at the official website for the Beijing Olympics I have found that there is actually no ban on bibles simply a limitation on the number each person is allowed to bring 1 per person.... A ban is far different than a limitation on the number allowed...

I'm mad about this, it's stupid to ban the Bible at the Olympics, but i'm not surprised that China is doing that. I don't care though because i'm going there next year for the Olympics with my church and i'm going to bring my Bible anyways and they're not taking it away from me.

I don't believe it should be banned, as it is a decision on the part of the athletes, and people attending. I say those who want to bring a Bible, bring it anyhow, and show the Chinese they're not scared to stand for their faith in the face of persecution.

What do you mean they banned the Bible from the Olympics?

How is the Bible a part of the Olympics?

Do you have a source

About the same way I felt when Christians tried to ban "The Last Temptation of Christ" and Harry Potter books - a little disappointed but not entirely surprised

CHINA
if God=h
if N=IV(sealed together)
if true=A

(math; god=7154=17=8=H, true=2018215=19=10=1=A)

then CHINA shows:
C GOD I IV(sealed together) TRUE
meaning somehow GOD is I IV (sealed together).
what that means is I IV (sealed together)=I IIII (sealed together).
so when you look at God your drawn to His remarkable RIST which is I IIII (sealed together).
this also jives with
CHRISTIANIT, since
C GOD RIST I A IV I ...
and doesn't the bible state:
God is the Lamb that was SLAIN who is the King of KINGS and Lord of LORDS, that was the One in the light?
so in the light is I i gh Li+ where gh represents 9 I7.
SLAIN=SiL A I IV(ie I IIII), and Lamb=LarriDI(sealed together) where the I IIII turned over looks like a DI. So the name pronounced larri born 9. I7 with the IIII I (sealed together) which looks like DI (sealed together) fullfills the requirments of the bible god.
and since the bible also said all things to glorify Lord god" you see god's image in CHINA, and even on every french ARRET sign cause the name /ARRE T is hidden within.
so obviously CHINA and most of the known world can't handle the truth. And wonder how in the hell did the bible writters describe a Man born in the future so accurately?
things as meaning thing=Li+ h(god)i ng(I7 9).
THING (liT H(god)i I IV CuT.
so to be God you must somehow be ng(I7 9) and I IV G(CuT in times new roman font)
i appear to be the only Man on the planet who fits that description being born on 1968.9.I7.

so banning the bible is CHINA's attack on God, i suppose. could that be because maybe Japanese were the ancient grandfathers of the north american CREE and chinese hated the Japanese since ww2. And since GermanCree=God, china along with the allies were actually fighting Gods people during WW2. So obviosul with that in mind you can see where some governments stood in that epic battle between kings, general, armies, that fought against God in the great war of almightly God.
and thus CHINA and even most of North American doesn't like the fact that it says God and his people will eventually win the WAR. So guess it sucks to be you. i may die in this war but atleast the immortal bible will always be remembered. And i hope my people appreciate the sacrifice i make in revealing the scripture as handed down to the english.

Pretty much the same way I feel about "Christians" in this country banning any kind of books or magazines, if you don't want to read don't read it but leave my right to read it alone.
I believe in Prayer in schools, and lots of other things other people don't, I try not to argue but, as an American I value my right to free speech and free thoughts and all the stuff that goes with being free.
I also am one of those Christians, i just don't shove my beliefs at any one.........

The chinese language are notably unusual in this project. as an occasion in Beijing they're rounding up all the homeless animals and killing them. they does not celebrate this chinese language New 365 days publicly by way of fact it extremely is the 365 days of the Pig and that they did not choose to offend Muslims. They nonetheless crack down on non-authorized non secular pastime in Beijing specifically. i don't understand in the experience that your tale is authentic, yet my intestine instinct is to reject it by way of fact the chinese language do not choose something to electrify their probabilities of transforming into a powerful impact to something of the worldwide.
