If our treatment of Creation reveals our attitudes toward the Creator, what are our actions saying?

Our actions are saying we are indifferent in many cases! Because they were created in His image, God gave men and women a privileged place among all creatures and commanded them to exercise stewardship over the earth (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8:6-8). Stewardship implies caretaking, not abusing. We are to intelligently manage the resources God has given us, using all diligent care to preserve and protect them. This is seen in the Old Testament where God commanded that the fields and vineyards would be sown and harvested for six years, then left fallow for the seventh year in order to replenish the soil's nutrients, both to rest the land and to ensure continued provision for His people in the future (Exodus 23:10-11; Leviticus 25:1-7).

In addition to our role of caretakers, we are to appreciate the functionality and beauty of the environment. In His incredible grace and power, God has placed on this planet everything needed to feed, clothe, and house the billions of people who have lived on it since the garden of Eden. All the resources He has provided for our needs are renewable, and He continues to provide the sun and rain necessary to sustain and replenish those resources. And if this were not enough, He has also decorated the planet in glorious color and scenic beauty to appeal to our aesthetic sense and thrill our souls with wonder! Obviously as Christians, we should be doing what we can to be true stewards of God's creation.

We're supposed to be good stewards of what we have regardless of how it got here and we're not. To put it bluntly we exploit our home Earth and have exploited it to the point where it's beginning to show signs of strain. Ecosystems are breaking down all over the world as a direct result of human action or inaction. We never learned to peacefully co-exist with the world, and instead choose to conquer it. This isn't the right mind set, but it is how it is. Hopefully, you and I won't be around to see the final gasp from the planet. PEACE!

I agree that we (humans, plants, animals, insects etc.) share the same emotions and feelings because we all come from God The One Creator of all things and The Knower of all things secret and open.
We should have
respect for Allah's earth simply because some of the plants, animals and insects are Monotheists/Atheists just like some of us humans and they have their own way of communicating to each other as well as praying.

So I as a Muslim must speak on their behalf and say: Every one doesn't like to look dirty.

Many of us are saying that we don't appreciate what God has created for us. Each of us have a responsibility to show God how thankful we are for the world He made us stewards over by taking care of and protecting it.

God didn't create the world the world belongs to satan. God created heaven and earth and everthing in them.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And yes it is our job to take care of them.

We should care for the world regardless of whether or not God created it. We need to live here, so we should try to maintain the best environment possible. I don't know about God's opinions, but I know that my children and my children's children deserve a planet that's in decent shape.

If we don't take care of this world, and our problems in it, our future is not going to be pretty. God is not going to bail us out, of our responsibilities on this earth. We need to realize that, this is the only reality that counts, and make the extra effort to address these very serious problems, and make for a better future in this world.

Yes and no.

We have been given dominion over this world. While we should indeed conserve our resources and find ways of making them renewable, such as forest management, it is ridiculous to assume we should preserve the world in its original state without accommodating for ourselves.

Conservation, Yes. Preservation, No.
