The making is simple and there are descriptions in any basic chemistry book.

The storing of hydrogen, which is very explosive, is much harder. You will need a container that meets the local fire code and will need it to be located a required distance from residences.

Why don't you get yourself some blueprints for something easier and less dangerous? Like a home made jetpack?

What do you want to make hydrogen with, anyway? Electricity from the power outlet???? Just asking because hydrogen as energy storage medium does not make sense unless you call yourself NASA. But they wouldn't come here to ask how it's done. They wrote the book.

And if you have solar panels, why do you want to waste 60-80% of their efficiency on making hydrogen and converting it back? If you need to store energy, get batteries and take a 20% hit. Way better, way cheaper, way less dangerous.

Just my few cents. If you want to hear the same message again, just ask another physicist.

Why would you want to?
It's dangerous and wasteful of energy.
