of wealth? She has a parasitic twin, has absorbed some internal organs and has 4 legs and arms?

Some people are calling her a goddess and a circus tried to buy her from her parents.

What is wrong with some people? Trying to buy a child.

There are unscrupulous people all over the world who want to profit regardless of the circumstances. I'm so glad her parents had the sense to say no and put her into hiding until the operation is over. I hope she does well.

Update

A 27 hour operation has been successful.

Parents of the baby are very poor, they were given no hope of a success in a hospital in Delhi.

The head of this hospital who conducted the operation had read about her 2 months back and approached the parents. He offered a free surgery. He spent 2 months in assembling the teams from all over the contry.

The mother was hysterical, and had to be put under sedation.

What a beautiful child! She has such pretty eyes...I couldn't imagine someone looking into those eyes and offering to buy her to put on display in a circus, as if she's not a person just because of a birth defect. Disgusting.

Can anyone explain to me why it would not be safer and more practical to do the surgery in stages over a course of months or even years?

They are talking about amputating around a quarter or a third of her body in one go.

I am no surgeon but it doesn't seem correct. I would love to read more.

I hope she survives the surgery...

I might be a bit strange, but if it was my kid and the extra limbs weren't hurting her, why would I even want to put her through dangerous surgery to correct something that is not a problem?

How bizarre. Can they operate with 'absorbed' organs? I feel bad for her parents.
