This is too funny. My daughter did this when he first potty trained the worse thing you can do is pull ups unless @ night. During the day she should be in panties and you should buy a sticker chart for her after a certain amount of stickers you get her a little treat. Whether it be a toy or DVD or candy. I also brought a potty training book for her I highly recommend the Potty Trainer Ebook. Johanne Cesar has done such a great job in putting a tremendous amount of hands on potty training information and advice in this ebook. You will get a step by step guide to potty training your child. Everytime she went to the potty me and my boyfriend would make the biggest deal i.e. doing a potty dance singing made up songs. Here is a site that can help you.http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com/Potty-Training-Chart5-z.html Remember take your time dont pressure her and everything will be fine. Wishing you the best of luck.

My toddler was like that when I was trying to potty train her. But don't insist let her the more u insist the more she wont want to. It won't last long she just doesn't feel comfortable using number 2 in the big potty. Alot of kids go through this. Good Luck! Leaving her in a diaper for an hour like those other ppl said could lead her to get an UTI or a diaper rash. Don't do that to her, I know I did it once and my kid got a UTI.

My grandson had the same issue. He was about 3 and a half and would hide and go number 2 but would tell me when he had to go number 1. It sounds awful but here is what I tried. 1) I let his stay in the dirty diaper for a few minutes and asked him if he liked it, He instantly said no. I told him if he would go in the potty he wouldn't have this not nice feeling. 2) When I ran out of diaper I refused to buy more. No more diapers your a good boy who uses a potty just like Grandma and Grandpa. After about two or three days of accidents. They stopped and we went in the potty. After the first day with no accidents we had a potty party with cake and ice cream. No more accidents. Good Luck.

Try promising to put a diaper on once she goes #2 in the toilet. I'm baffled myself. My daughter is refusing to do anything on a potty chair, toilet, etc. She's stubborn and potty training has been a big issue for us. Ugh!

My son is doing the same thing. He will go and hide, and poop his pants. We have started a reward system. Every time he uses the potty for #2, he gets a sticker to put on a piece of construction paper that we hang in the wall (in the bathroom), and a small candy of some sort. He really feels like he's achieved something and he lets everyone know that he's a big boy now! Good luck!

ok, its in ordinary terms a diaper, why stress over it, plus she is in simple terms 28 months (in simple terms over 2 years), the only component she has typical is to apply a diaper and now without be conscious you elect to alter the approach. Like maximum folk little ones secure, hate replace. My 2 sons that are potty knowledgeable have been very just about 4yrs old till now I had them out of diapers. I surely have a three year old good now in diapers fulltime and my 5 year old thats potty trianed for the time of the day has to positioned on a diaper at night for mattress wetting. i think of your stressing out over no longer something and which your toddler will pickup on. Its in ordinary terms a diaper no longer the plauge, while she is waiting she will potty prepare, I promise, she wont to to college in diapers.

My son did that too. First, I took him out of "pull-ups".... and put him in those really thick white cloth training underwear. Then I found something that he really wanted - in this case - he wanted these cool spiderman underwear. I told him as soon as he started using the toilet for potty and poop, then he could wear them. Within 2 days (and yes a few icky underwear changes first) he woke me up at 5am to tell me he pooped in the toilet. He got his new underwear and never had a problem after. He was 3 years old.
Hope that helps!
Good luck!

Same with my little sister!!
Still no success..
The doctor told my family that we should use a reward system. For every time she goes, give her soemthing special. Like a quarter...
But, that isn't really working..
So, I am jsut trying to get her to go in the diaper, but be i nthe bathroom. That might work, seeing as she will eventually just go a few steps away in the toilet..
Good luck!!

My mom used this trick for me when i was little.
Tell her that each time she goes to the bathroom and goes #2 you'll give her a jelly bean or candycorn. Follow through on your promise and see if she is more willing to go #2 in the toilet rather than in a diaper.

I told my daughter who was potty training one of her children,
"she won't go to college in a diaper don't worry about she'll get it", and so will yours.
Big potties can be scary just be patient
