I'm not so sure it's growing pains. If you are a runner and overdo it then back off for a couple of days, it can cause hip pains. If you have a feeling like the bones are rubbing together, then you may have a hip slightly out of place. The least expensive and in many cases most beneficial would be to see a chiropractor. If you don't want to see one then try putting a heating pad on your hip, take some ibuprofen, and see if it doesn't clear up.

Hello,
More symptoms are necessary to suggest a way. Sometimes hip replacement is also necessary. First of all we have to mark the exact reasons. It is important to make an accurate diagnosis of the cause of your symptoms so that appropriate treatment can be directed at the underlying problem. Prior to looking at hip pain in detail, I would like to point out that your hip pain may be coming from the hip itself, or from your lower back and pelvis. 50% of the cases I see of hip pain have a lower back component and 50% do not.I think you still need to know more. For that i want to suggest to have information from a professional.

Here is an wonderful source for you.
