No, we should not be mean to them or rude to them but we should NOT accept the relegions. In no way, by no means. By tolerating them we are accepting them. I know it sounds bad, to be intolerant, but when you think about it--- it is actually standing up for the ONE truth- Jesus Christ!

we always must respect the fact that non-Christians have the right to worship who or what they want. but we must never accept their god or their ways (in us) or we will become as they are,outside the will of our Father and that can not be tolerated in a Christian
this whole tolerance thing has gotten out of hand. what is it they mean by tolerance? do they mean that we should allow others to practice their freedoms, if so I can do that.
if they mean that I have to accept it into my life and allow these things to go on in my house then I must stand against tolerance because I will not tolerate that which I know is against God. that being said, I must say I don't know everything. We learn every day. have I done and accepted things that were not of God. sure I have, the same as most people. I am not perfect, the difference is when we learn the things that we have accepted are against God do we keep doing it and hold it close to us or do we begin to learn how to put it far from us. the world wants us to take things such as homosexuality into our hearts as acceptable and I can not. I can however allow in me that they have the God given right to live how they will. Can they do the same for me? It doesn't look as if they are going to allow me the same right. as they are trying to make a mockery of my God and try to make me accept it. This is what I will take with me to the Father, I will not accept in me that which I know is un-Godly not even if the un-Godly are those that I love.

we can respect each other, without totally agreeing with each other. I am a Christian who knows that Jesus is the only way to heaven, if someone from another religion differs with me, I will still respect and love them. When someone does not believe the truth, which I feel Christ is I feel sorry for them, because they are missing out , not only on eternal life, but an abundant and joy filled life here and now-
God loves all people, and respects all people, but not all people will be saved- because they do not believe in Jesus-
In the OT- God told the Israelites that they should only worship Him, because He is the one true living God- however if God only loved Christians- He would never have said "GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD'

The GOD Morality predicament is mindless. First: God is God, you belong to Him. He gets to decide you no longer Viceversa. 2d: your Romans a million:24-32 reference is ridiculous. It in basic terms says that folk who have been being evil understand that God's righteous decree states that people who do such evil deserve death. 0.33: Why did you no longer point out that Christ has paid for the sins of the worldwide, so as that no-one can say that they kill yet another through fact of their sins. Or the reality that Jesus pronounced to even love your enemies and to do good to those who do evil to you? do you recognize something approximately Christianity? The crusades have been finished via Catholics. Any Christian who claims to kill for God is a liar. So right here's a greater precise try: a million. Is your God the author and proprietor of each thing and each physique? sure 2. Is your God prepared to go through on your sake? sure 3. Does your God call for which you like each physique and injury no person? sure

Read the Parable of The Good Samaritan in Luke 10. If you still hold the opinion we shouldn't respect other religion, look up what a Samaritan is and why Jews hated them then read it again.
Also, Romans 2:14-15 and Matthew 25:31-46 both say explicitly that those who act and live like Christians even though they don't call it that are saved, moreso than those who believe and don't act like Christians.

Everyone deserves to be respected and accepted (and if not accepted than at least tolerated). You may believe your faith is the only correct way and any other path will lead to inevitable eternal suffering but that is your own busness. Not everyone believes what you do and they have just as much right to their beliefs as you. I'm sure there are people of other faiths who feel just as strongly about their beliefs as you do about yours. No one is more entitled than anyone else. As long as no one is getting hurt you can believe whatever you want.

I'd like to defer to Paul on this one:
23: For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24: God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25: Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26: And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27: That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Paul did not condemn these people nor did he accept their beliefs, rather he took their beliefs and expounded the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to them and used their place of worship to do so. Tolerance is more like never trying to deal with issues that could prevent someone from making it to heaven. I believe God wants us to give people the chance to accept Him. If they reject Him, then we move on...we've done our job of planting and who knows whether someone else will water.
Our responsibility is to offer this Great Salvation and not condemn. That does not spell tolerance to me, it is more like obedience.

Sometimes I wonder if, in the long run, it would be best if the Christians went ahead and did what they really want to, deep down inside... go out and kill all the nonbelievers in their religion.
You see, all the other religions, that are just like the Christians, will do the same. And they will wipe each other out.
While this is going on, the atheist/agnostics will pretend to be one of you, and wait for you all to finish killing each other.
Afterwards, we will stop pretending, round up the last few wackos that are left, ship them off to an island somewhere (where they can continue killing each other), and we will rebuild an actual enlightened society out here.
I'd hate to see so many people die, but in the long run, maybe it will be more humane to just duke it out in one big stupid generation.

If you choose not to respect others, be prepared to have no respect extended to you.
After all, your fairy tales aren't all that original. And you're only a Christian because you were socialized in a culture where Christianity is common. Your God is just as real as all the others...
