if the state that you live in and some of the surrounding states were all of a sudden sold and not part of america. what do you expect would happen? especially if the new owners didn't like your kind.

It would depend somewhat on the terms of the 'sale.' If the new 'owners' were respectful of existing property & human rights and not irredeemably evil in some way, I'd probably stay and conform to the new order. I really, really don't like to move, you see.
If the sale was a result of a war that had been lost, I suppose I'd be with the rest of the refugees. If there was still a plausible hope of defeating the new 'owners,' I might even stick around to cause them some trouble.
But, whatever I'd do, it'd be in response to what was happening at the time. I wouldn't want any descendents of mine or the new 'owners' to go about killing - or even disrespecting - eachother over what I had done long before they were born.
People need to learn from history, not use it as a pretext to hate or invade thier neighbors.

well this question is irrelevant in this time as we cannot sell a state now.we cant even sucede(hence the civil war).at that time period land was bought, sold, fought for and what not.this is now a few hundred years later.they really should have brought this up a century ago.
this is no longer their land but yes we did buy some and stole some.we should say sorry but we cant just give it back now.then they would be just like us and want to kick out all the americans in those 7 states.
by the way people she is a white american stop calling her mexican.

This Illegal Immigrations concern is not about a certain "kind". Illegals are entering this country at a very rapid pace from all over the world and are made up of all "kinds".
The issue is about the ILLEGAL aspect and how the over 20 million people not contributing to the programs and benefits they are drawing from. Cities are going bankrupt in an effort to provide these services. This is only a small example of how the Illegals (non contributors to our systems) are effecting the US Society.
I know it's difficult for some to understand that Illegal Immigration is not about race or where the people are coming from or what makes them tick. It is about not contributing to the recourses they are drawing from.
Thank you

Not sure what you are implying here.
Since a state can not be sold I don't see anything I can truly relate this to. If I own my property I live in my property unless I decide I would like to go somewhere else, everyone else be damned.
However, I would not move sell my property to someone else then move back onto it and claim the I did not leave my propoerty my property left me.

Alonso in the UK we have a major problem with immigrants ...they come to our country begging for help because their own people are all killing each other and they cannot govern themselves .
as for taking over countries which are now getting us out where was africas problems when they were governed by us????
all the time screaming for independence and then come running to us for aid because they cant govern themselves or control their population.
people come to the uk for asylum and then expect to sit in a house provided for them by hardworking taxpayers and pump out ten replicas of themselves . it is not on.

None of our states were "all of a sudden sold". MOST of our states have been states for over 100 years.
Where does this "all of a sudden come from"??
Are you talking about the illegal aliens of today? This "sale" took place before they were born...and your point is??

What a completely irrelevant question.
Here's a better one:
If you came home to find you neighbors had broken into your home and refused to leave would you:
a) call the police, or
b) let them stay because, after all, they just want a better life?

I would legally go where I was wanted. But thankfully, none of the US states will ever "sell" to anyone! So I guess it is a moot question.

what would i do.
i would find the home of the nearest politician that voted for it and camp out on his lawn demand free food and free medical (which is more than i have now) and yell racist through a bull horn====RACIST RACIST RACIST...
that ought to get me a house, some free food and all the medical i need!!! and if i got enough friends to join me maybe we could get our own state too.
