I have been on Suboxone for approximately one month and have decided to stop taking it and see if I can live healthy without it. It has been 192 hours since my last dose and I am still feeling WD symptoms. Any idea of when I will start to feel normal again? I have a constant, dull pain in my back and my sleep at night sucks. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was taking Suboxone to come off of oxycontin. I started at 4mg per day and tapered down to 2mg per day then to 2mg every other day.

Some slight symptoms can last 2-3 weeks, but those should be pretty mild. After 8 days, you should not be REAL achy. I know exactly what you are going through, just tough it out and in a week or so, you will have completely gotten through it. Try taking hot baths or sitting in a spa, that will help with the muscle aches. Try taking some Benadryl at night to help sleep.

What was the reason for you being prescribed Suboxone? And at what dose were you taking it?
