I hope at least some Christians understand that it's mostly because some of their brethren and sistren so noisily denounce all other religions as "cults."

Well, it is possible to accomplish everything god wants from you without going to church. Just read the bible and use your brain. If that is the only request and people choose to do more..like go to church, then I say no. It's not a cult.
For me, a cult has a requirement of indoctrination by others in a forced setting. ..does that help you?

i think it makes sense. its one of the strictest religions. and christianity is very questionable in its virtues. many other religions dont have as strict of rules, such as pagans you decided whatever you want and atheist is simple. no god or supreme deity/deities.

It sickens me. I don't think that us Christians are in a cult. I don't know why people think so.

Personally I don't give a flip what they say. I look at who they are and what they stand for. Abortion= death, Euthanasia = death. Same sex marriage? Many times ends in death. Their favorite holiday? Halloween celebrates death.
I see our "cult" feeding the hungry, helping those who have lost their jobs, giving a helping hand to those in need, and in return? we ask for nothing, not one dime, not even for them to attend one service. so, why should I care what they think, they serve themselves, and their master, the father of lies.
So, who would you say is the cult?
