How do you all end your phone conversations? Does anyone say "Goodbye" or "Bye" anymore?
As of late, I rarely hear that.
I don't even hear people say alternatives such as "Later" or "Peace" either. I was just wondering how you folks end your phone convos.
Many thanks for your comments!

It seems to me that people just say "Okay" and then hang up the phone. I find that strange...

Shelby,
I either say Goodbye, Bye, or "Ciao for now!"

I always end my conversations with saying "Bye". People who end conversations without saying anything really get on my nerves. One of my co-workers does this as does one of my cousins.
However, when I'm ending a conversation with one of my friends, we always say "Later". I don't know how we got started on that because I say "Bye" to everyone else I talk to, but it eventually just became our sign off.

That is all I say to end a conversation is good bye, or bye. I don't need to sound cool for my friends or customers at my work place. Age and professionalism will change that as you get older.

This sounds precisely like i'm living the comparable existence as you're; concerning telephone conversations. I certainly have in no way been a brilliant man or woman to spend very quite some time on the telephone, particularly if this is in basic terms "chit chat" kind verbal substitute. I certainly have defined this to different people, and maximum have understood this, and those that have not and characteristic in basic terms chosen to be offended, I in basic terms could video reveal the calls (yay caller id) or I could save the on a daily basis verbal substitute on the e-mail point. I certainly have specific friends who i understand i visit could set aside 15 to twenty minutes for as quickly as we are on the telephone. some people could be slightly self wide-unfold approximately this, and might communicate on no remember what. I certainly have had again appropriate out and bluntly tell people who my dogs is begging to pass out (actual); I could pass to the washing room (actual) or I could get waiting for an appointment (in basic terms a tiny white lie- could be slightly later than I say it extremely is- despite the fact that it saves the day!). i'm at the instant working from abode and examining for my Masters degree, and a few people do in basic terms no longer understand that I certainly have dispensed time, in basic terms as they do. This additionally seems the curse of stay-abode mothers and dads, from what I certainly have been advised. people in basic terms think of that they've no longer something to do all day, and are in basic terms lounging around staring at soaps and ingesting candy.... i assume that a number of this in basic terms revolves around todays self- wide-unfold society. i'm hoping this permits. Have a staggering day!!

Well, many people have stopped using appropriate conversation-enders, however, I feel the finality of a "Good Bye" is always necessary. It actually perturbs me when others just say "okay" and hang up...perhaps I had more to say after your "okay"? Assuming we were still talking about anything.
**Hope that helps**

I always say "bye" unless my phone drops the call or I'm at work and it's a telemarketer that I am hanging up on.

Well, I always say "Bye" or "May God keep you under His protection" or "Peace" or "Take care".
It is quite strange when people just hang up without saying anything.
