I have heard the benefits of eating buffalo and elk over beef but I am having a hard time finding a store in the Salt Lake City area.

Elk meat, doubtful, but buffalo meat can be purchased at Fred Meyer/Krogers. I don't know if it is only certain times of the year or not, but I do know they have it.

I can get buffalo at a Safeway in California. If they don't have it, just ask the meat manager. They can't buy things in when they don't know there's a demand.

Elk is more common in Finland than beef.

I get ground buffalo at Kroger, it is a huge chain.
