They've got properties all over the world. Lots of properties are constructed using iron & steel.

Depends on the steels. Both are composed of iron mostly. Not all steels rust. They are each quite heavy, quite strong, and capable of being used to make cannons or hammers or many other tools.

They both thend to be inherently magnetic.
