They all eventually get sold.
I have been in the auto business since 1983 & have never seen a car that didn't get sold.
Currantly I only have 3-4 2007 cars left in my inventory.

Of course I work for a very popular manufacturer.......
So maybe there are some off brands that don't sell...but i have never seen them.

they go to the front of the lot with massive reductions, or the dealer principals use them as business cars for themselves, or they are used as loan cars when your car gets serviced

THEY PUT A REDUCED PRICE ON THEM AND HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL BUY THEM BUT YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BECAUSE THE REDUCED PRICE IS SOMETIMES THE SAME AS BEFORE, PEOPLE JUST DON'T LOOK HARD ENOUGH.

usually the dealers will have a factory blow out sale. sometimes they go to a dealer only auction.

They all get sold. They don't just throw them away.
