Global warming started in 1980 according to the IPCC report. Prior to that, droughts, floods, hurricanes, tornados, etc. were the result of some very expensive special effects engineered by the folks in Hollywood, CA and filmed at the MGM backlots #1 & #2.

The same stuff that are causing them now, because (I have no idea where you stand on this issue) but NEWS FLASH TIME!!! Global Warming is NOT making storms worse. There were NO Hurricanes to make US landfall in 2006, and I haven't heard of any this year either, although I haven't been following the news lately.
The climate always changes, and, compared to those in the past, this warming trend is not very dramatic. May I also add that the WHOLE earth isn't even warming? Some places are, but some are cooling. Of course (extreme sarcasm to be used here) Mr. Gore does tell us that Global Warming may cause some areas to cool. GIVE ME A BREAK!
Isn't it nice to have a theory like this that can be proved by absolutely everything?

It was all the pollution that horse drawn carriages put into the air. The methane from billions of horses every day, whether they were used or not just kept dumping billions of tons of a$$ gas into the air causing floods, hurricanes, droughts, and pestilence.
This was corrected for a short time after the car was invented, but it wasn't long before man exploited the working class and started to cause more global warming again. This was the start of the dust bowl era. FDR engineered the great depression and WWII which reduced the number of people on Earth. Democrats and other social liberals are planning to duplicate this feat by once again reducing the population by 20% with more wars.

in accordance to an editorial I examine as we communicate this is through sub arctic jet flow. The jet flow separates the reletively chilly moist arctic air from the warmth dry southern air. while the version in northern and southern temperatures is sweet sized, the jet flow strikes quickly (alongside with the loops in it that swing down south as quickly as in awhile). while the northern air warms, there is far less of a temperature difference and the jet flow does not flow so quickly, and the loops it makes do no longer flow over the floor as quickly the two. while the loops do no longer flow, a community is caught with despite the fact that climate they have; if this is raining this is going to proceed to rain for weeks/months/years, if this is warm and dry this is going to stay that way.

All things bad that have happened in the world were caused by Haliburton, capitalism or the US Military.

shhhh... Don't ask such logical questions. Global Warming is the source of all problems, and it's caused by Republicans/Haliburton/Council of Rome/Area 51/Illuminatti........
and you will be re-educated till you believe so.

Of course there is natural weather.
But heat is the engine that drives weather systems. So global warming will make those things worse.
It also will push precipitation away from the temperate latitudes and towards the equator and the poles. Unfortunately, most of our food production comes from the temperate latitudes.
