I have a set of documents I use from time to time. 2 of the documents default to the "View Markup" setting whenever I open it or someone else opens it on our network. It is annoying because it stays with the document when you email it. Any idea how to turn this off? Word 2003.

Tools > Options > Security Tab > deselect "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving"
