You need to report him to his supervisor.

Plain and simple. Tell the police. Try as hard as you can to not be alone with him. If he comes near you, and tries to touch you. Tell him that you don't like it. If he persists. Hit him. Hard. Where it hurts. Self-defense.

Tell somebody!!

This man can go to jail for a VERY long time.
But seriously. Tell somebody. A teacher, counselor, parents, police. ANYONE. They will help.
This is a SERIOUS problem. Even now that you're older.

Read the book "Such a Pretty Girl." The main character goes through the same thing.

You need to sit down with your parents and tell them firmly that this person molested you. Most likely they didn't believe you the first time because you were a child and they probably thought you were making it up. If they still don't believe it, speak to your school counselor or a trusted adult. The person that molested you should be punished, regardless of his job. The next time he's at your house, leave or arrange not to be there when he's around.

1. Report him to his supervisor
2. Go see a counselor. If you are in school, try a guidance counselor. If you are out of school, call a crisis hotline and they can direct you to some free counseling for victims of abuse or molestation.
3. If he comes over, get out of the house and don't come back until he is gone. TELL YOUR PARENTS that you don't feel safe with him around. If they don't respect your wishes, then leave.

Good luck!

Everyone telling you to run to your parents or the cops right away is wrong wrong wrong.

for 10 years your instincts have been to not do that, what changed now?

what yo need to do is to find a counselor trained to handle this kind of trauma, and then in time you may or may not decide to press charges, but at least it will be from a position of strength, not a desperate decision.

You actually by law can't press charges, it has been 10 years and there is a time limit as to when you can press charges. The statues of limitations is over I am sure, just research laws and statues in your state. Hope this helps, best of luck with this and I am sorry your parents didn't do their job and you were disrespected by someone.

You have 10 years after your 18th birthday to file a police report for any sexual abuse you were a victim to, it does not matter what he does for a living. He is just one of the slime bags that slipped through the cracks that makes us good ones in Law Enforcement look bad.

I was going to ask if they knew. If they did, it is still not too late to press charges. Contact an attorney. It does not matter who this pervert is now.

That is very though to deal with. Really the only way to deal with it would be to try to take him to court. If you do not prove the charges there is not much you can do.

I suppose you could file a civil lawsuit. But remember that if he is in the police force in your town he could make it rather rough on you. Good luck
