Kaeden is 3 and gets so frusterated at his new stuttering that he cries. His tubes have been clogged or something before so he had to have them cleaned out or pushed back down (I'm not sure on the details but I know he had problems with them once.) Anyway, he yells when he talks, stutters, and says "huh?" or "what". He confuses words to (we say "stop that" and he thinks we said "step back" or something similar.) Could his stuttering be because of his tubes?

I would say yes. Or there could be a speech delay due to the ear infections, from before he had tubes. The delay could be contributing to the confusion and speech impediment. Contact a Speech Therapist asap. GL

i replace into in simple terms on the ear/nostril/throat professional Thursday with my son. He has had ear an infection after ear an infection for 9 months now. The physician reported that along with his history of ear infections on the beginning up he might have stated tubes yet as quickly as they did a attempt (blew air into his ears to work out how his ear drums have been functioning) he reported he did no longer choose them via fact their is air in the back of his ear drums and not fluid. The tubes might do no solid for him. If there is fluid in the back of his ears and the physician says she desires tubes then do it. it somewhat is a extremely ordinary technique. My cousin's daughter replace into in the physician's place of work for no extra suitable than 3 hours while she had tubes put in. So, sure i might have tubes put in, even nonetheless she would possibly no longer seem to have listening to loss you never be attentive to what the subsequent ear an infection might do to her listening to.

It could be the tubes. But he could be one of he increasing number of children being diagnosed with autism at a later age. I am not easily convinced when it comes to saying children have something but from what I have been watching and reading this is one of those signs.
Good luck
