OMG, I can't believe some of the LOSERS who think they are SO funny...these people really need to get a life.
Ok, well, if your dog is basically ok otherwise...no vomiting, eating fine, acting normally...there is no need to panic. Sometimes there is just a little bit of inflammation in the colon causing some mild bleeding. Because it's red blood, that means it's not digested blood, which would be black, so it is coming from somewhere past the point of digestion. Digestions occurs in the mouth, stomach and small intestine so red blood is usually from the colon or rectum.
Mild colitis, or inflammation of the colon, is not usually serious and will resolve on its own.
You can bring a stool sample to your vet to check for parasites just in case. Think about if your dog has access to mouse or rat bait since that can cause bleeding disorders, and if the answer is yes, you do need to go to the vet. Otherwise just keep an eye on the dog for any diarrhea, vomiting, persisting blood, bleeding from other areas (gums, urinary tract..) and if that occurs, make the appt.
Good luck, don't panic. This is very common.

Puppies can increase ulcers simply as people can. Ordinarily a blood scan will exhibit anemia with an energetic bleed. You could want to getting your canine out and running it extra. Fearful, high energy dogs need extra recreation to get rid of the tension they expertise. A protracted stroll of an hour or more a day will support drain off probably the most power and help calm her. Bringing in a puppy was once a mistake. You already had an unbalanced dog and you've got brought in one other before she was once stable. This will only additional unbalance her and maybe create a crisis within the new puppy as good. I might propose pastime, endeavor, endeavor. Running together with her with the aid of your facet and no longer in front at a brisk price. I think you can see an improvement in her in no time. The dog will have got to wait unless it can be had as a minimum it can be first set of shots before going out in public, after which you can add her or him to the walk as well.

ANY blood in the stool really does need investigated by a vet. It can be an indication of soooo many different things. A few inconsequential, but many very, very serious. The soner you take the dog, and a sample to your vet, the sooner you can put your mind at ease.

It depends partly on how old your dog is. Is it an adult or puppy? Has your dog been vaccinated for Parvo? A sure sign of a dog having provo is a bloody stool, in which case you must see a vet. immediately. This is a fatal disease, especially in puppies. If it is up to date on vaccinations, including parvo, I wouldn't know what else it might be.

You should bring a sample to your vet to test for parasites. If your dog is an intact male, it could be a result of a swollen prostate, which can be caused by a nearby female in heat.

Sounds like any number of problems - all of them serious, and, at the least, colitis.
Get your dog to a vet - fast.

He needs a vet visit Asap. Could be worms or a GI bleed. Or a foreign body could have punctured his stomach wall.
