The first thing is to have Mom and Dad vet checked to be sure they are able to mate make sure all shots are up to date
Check for all health illness past and now in each side of the family if you own both dogs that is better if he is a stud make sure you have a contract saying what the deal is in writing such as a pup from the litter or money what if only one pup makes it who will get it breeding is something you have to give 100% to it takes lots of research so you will know what to do if something goes wrongs and it can

Most importantly would be an intelligent, educated breeder who has shown these dogs, researched the bloodline, ruled out genetic problems, knows both dogs are worth breeding "for the good of the breed" and not just to make a buck.

The world does NOT need more dogs bred when millions are killed every year because there are not enough homes for them/

"Succesfully manage the animals"?? Not sure what they are asking!!!

What would be "managing" them?? All the stuff Rescue Member listed are great, but all that would be done BEFORE selecting a breeding pair. That is what is done to select the dogs to be bred.
