i was going to go down town new years day but im thinking will it be boring as everyone will have gone out for new years eve help lol

depends on the town hunni.
I am a little superticious myself....I always have a party safe at home and everyone is encouraged to sleep over....that way everyone can get wasted or whatever and not have to brave the roads where all the other drunks are. :-)
Besides I like to toast in the new year with my Daughter!

Usually loads of Sales on that day so you could pick up a bargain while everyone else nurses their hangovers. Which town? Which country?
