to receive any blood and that this is the reason that they dont have blood transfusions, quoting Acts I think.
However Witnesses up until the early 1960s WERE ALLOWED by the Organisation to have blood parts and transfusions.
Since the Organisation was founded in the1870s, does that mean that the Witnesses was unaware what the Bible said regarding blood for over 80 years.

Everybody please read the answer from the JW called (Learn about one true god) It is an absolute classic and should have gone into The Jokes and riddles section. It says just about everything that can be said about Watchtower indoctrination. It should even be put on television.

Thanks for confirming that what I said was true.
Now that it has been confirmed that the Jehovahs Witnesses did not heed the counsel of the Bible for over 80 years then surely it has also been confirmed that the Watchtower organisation have not been receiving Divine guidance, and therefore they are NOT Gods sole organisation on Earth.

Well, the Bible does not even come close to saying that blood transfusions are not allowed. Not only are JW's inconsistent in that they changed their own beliefs, they changed it incorrectly. Acts 15:20, which is what they quote, says, "Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood." It is simply a warning against eating or drinking blood. Keep in mind that a statement against blood transfusions would have to be rather explicit since the concept didn't even exist in Biblical times.
Obviously, because of the nature of the procedures involved, one should pray over the matter, if a doctor has brought the idea to one's attention. But there is nothing explicit condemning it. JW's generally take one verse and then use it (out of context) and always with their reasoning. For example, notice that they can't find one verse that directly says: "Jesus is Michael the archangel". In order to believe that, they take just a few verses and interpret them through their own reasoning. They always accompany their doctrine with reasoning because they need their reasoning. They need their reasoning because the doctrine is not Biblical.
So in this case, JW's will take that one verse from Acts and go way out on a limb with tons of their own reasoning, hoping you'll for some illogical reason fall for it. And their inconsistency with their beliefs is enough to be extremely skeptical of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
EDIT: The answer above mine explains it all-the Watchtower has to make its followers believe that the understanding changes; that way when they feel like changing something from the Bible, they simply interpret it the way they feel. Plus, I would pose this question: Why does the Watchtower believe it is the only authority to interpret the Bible, and furthermore, to receive "brighter and brighter light from Jehovah"? In fact, is receiving "brighter light" even Biblical?

you may desire to learn the Bible your self and with the Witnesses. yet you're letting others make that determination for you. you're saying you have been examining the Bible for the previous couple of months now yet i don't think of you have truly found out something. while you're nonetheless undecided with the help of now i don't see any factor in retaining going. you may desire to make that determination,. yet you have studied long adequate to understand that what others have pronounced in this publish isn't authentic. in case you have been truly paying interest. you may desire to have not have been given any doubts that that's the actuality. in case you do nonetheless doubt, then it extremely is not the nicely suited time for you. return to the faith you have been in the previous you started out to learn with them. The Witnesses are good, you may not study with regards to the Bible on your person. that's the reason Philip had to show the Ethiopian Eunuch with regards to the Bible. human beings do attempt to understand the Bible on their own and that's the reason there are such distinctive distinctive religions. The Witnesses enable the Bible interprete itself. they don't interprete it.

You know what... Im not saying this is not true.. I have no idea because I was raised in the truth, and all I have known is "No Blood" but the understanding of the Bible DOES change. Notice I said the understanding, NOT the Bible. Jehovah is always clear on matters, but for us the light just keeps on getting brighter and brighter. There are changes that take place when we have a better understanding of what certain scriptures mean. A long time ago it was ok for JWs to smoke cigerettes, its was ok then, we didn't really now any better. NOW, you can no longer be a JW and smoke. When smoking you defile the Body, and you become a slave to cigerettes, both of these things the Bible clearly condems.

Where were Jehovah's Witnesses when the Bible they claim to follow was being compiled by the Catholic Church?
They arrived on the scene centuries later with their own novel interpretation of scripture. Apparently, according to these 'johny-come-latelys', the Catholic Church, all the other Christian Churches and millions of Christians over umpteen generations since the time of Jesus had got it all wrong .
A classic example of a false religion.

Yes, to some extent.
The language of Acts 15:20,28,29 is undeniable. Jehovah's Witnesses were wrong to ignore its counsel for as long as they did, but were exemplary and humble in that they recognized their error and corrected it.
(Acts 15:20,28,29) Write them [the various Christian congregations] to abstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled [the meat of which likely contains blood] and from blood. ...For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled [the meat of which likely contains blood] and from fornication.

EDIT: Jehovah's Witnesses have never claimed to receive any miraculous messages from heaven. They understand the bible to be the totality of information they can expect from the Almighty. At times, they have misunderstood it.
