Do you know of any repuable breeders in New England? One of my friends is looking into adding another Newfoundland to their family (her Newfoundland DOES drool LOL).

She has a 12 year old Lanseer girl which she purchased from a breeder in Ohio where she used to live. She now resides in MA. Her girl is now a 'senior' and would like to add a puppy to the mix.

Any suggestions? Do you breed?

Here is a link to some in CT. I think there are a few other, though I am not sure if they are still breeding. The one, Kloofbear, is good. She does all her health clearances. We are looking at using one of her males this spring, but nothing for usre yet.

It really depends on what "kind" of Newf you like. The two breeders listed for MA above are not my cup of tea. I do not like the line they breed with. Personal preference I guess.

The Newf Club of New England covers that area.

There is also LONGSHIP in VT.

There are several in NY too. Jolly Roger near Buffalo is very good.

You can e-mail me if I can tell you anything more!!!!
