LOL My hubby didn't pass wind in front of me until we were engaged, pretty much! And I didn't in front of him until I was too pregnant to hold it in anymore. Just don't to it *during* a date. If she's reasonable she probably won't end the relationship because of a bodily function. If one slips out, apologize and have the grace to look embarrassed (even if you secretly want to laugh).

I've been in a relationship for a very long time and one of the reasons it works is because we are careful not to offend each other on purpose! Now, accidents do happen, but never do that with intent!!

I think this was an episode on Friends. the answer is 7 but you cant laugh about it until after the 12th date. this assumes you have had sex already, if not, its never acceptable.

It depends on the girl. If she's the right type, first date would be okay. But realistically you should try to avoid it at all costs. If she starts farting around you, then it might be okay if you do occasionally, but even then don't overdo it.

Don't pretend to be something you are not - If you feel the urge ...then let it go - I always tell all of the bad things about me and generally try to look like crap on my first date so that he will know the "real" me and I don't have to pretend or fake anything ever - if he doesn't like me at my worst - then I don't want him!

Hold off from doing it for as long as you can. But if you are like me, when I get nervous, I get nasty ones and cant hold 'em in. Like my grandma says, if it doesnt pay rent it has to come out.
