How would you liked to be buried????

As thery lower you into the earth.. I was told the other day that in some graveyards they put the coffin in the ground so you are in a standing up postion the save space .. This blew my mind i think i'd like it that way How about you.. Lying down,,standing up,,or carmation?????????

Ya ok the dead bit goes with out saying i was surprised to get such a lot of answer in a very short time One things for sure what ever way we want to get buried .. Seems like i hell of a lot of us has thought about it.. PS. i hope ya all have long an good lifes.

I have written down how I wish to be buried when I die,which my wife has also done,we will both be buried in re-cycled cardboard coffins in a forest,a non denomination pagan plot of land that has permission to do so.
My body will be laid flat in the ground with my head at the east and my feet to the west( so I face world of spirit),I can only take bio degradeable materials with me so in time the tree they plant over me will feed from my remains,thus carrying on the circle of life and death,this is a very specific burial and I carry a card saying(Pagan!not to be given christian burial) just incase,a bit like a donor card for the soul hehehehehe
I also told my family I would come back and give em hell if they tried it any other way,my wife will also have the same burial as myself,hopefully close to each other,oh no headstones are allowed but thats why they plant a tree for the deceased.

launched into space a la Spock and hopefully land on some planet randomly chosen to be the testing point of the Genesis project and brought back to life as an infant child... or maybe located by an advanced civilization of aliens who can repair cellular damage at the atomic level genetically modifying me into a bionic super being with a highly evolved neural net with a module port for different abilities and a direct input into a vast collective of information where ideas and knowledge are immediately downloaded into my brain...

but in case non of that happens, it would still be 'cool' to float around in space (kelvin pun not intended)

maybe go out like Solo and be frozen in carbonite and used as wal decoration for intergalactic gangstas.

Me ?, I want to be cremated and my ashes put into a large firework, then be part of a pyrotechnic firework display - explosions and colour - certainly an evening and funeral service to remember, I want those who knew me to go ahhhhh not ohh !.

Just a little add on, and this is a true story:
A man I knew (who was from Tipperary but who had lived in Cork, Ireland for many years) was dying of cancer a few months ago and his burial wish was this ' I want to be buried upright in a quiet cemetary with my a*rse to Cork, but facing Tipperary' - and they did !.
