18 to go to college. And then after that they should have a job and their own place. For kids that dont go to collge, I'd say 20 or 21, after that they need to grow the hell up.

If they are 18 and don't go to college, then I would give them a couple of years to get a job and get out on their own. So they should move out by the time they are 20. If they go to college, then I would consider them moved out and wouldn't want them to move back home when they finish school. Of course they will always be welcomed back home during summer break as long as they are in college. If there was an emergency, like the death of a spouse or something, my children would be welcome to come stay with me temporarily, but I don't think parents who continue to let their adult children live at home are doing them any favors.

Well, 18 is the general consensus. A child should move out when they are stable enough to do so. If my children are working hard, going to school, paying their own bills (car, insurance, credit cards) then they can stay in my house until they are able to afford their own place. If they think they can be 25, still laying around my house with a dead-end job and no college education, they've got another thing coming though.

12. HAHA no just kidding.

18 is the perfect age for kids to move out. When they go to college.

Sometimes people go through some rough patches in life and your kids may need a house to come home to if they have problems.. but there is a limit. Until they get back on their feet at least!

most kids will leave home for college, so you get a 4 year break. but then, they have to find a job and many will move back home. so that's about age 22 ish. so i would say that by 23 they should be outta the house. By that time they should have a job and can support themselves

They summer of high school graduation because they should be off to college then. If they are going to a local college I still say that is the time to get an apartment or something. This is between the ages of 17-20 depending on how old you are when you graduate.

Well, 18's a good number. If it's a girl, they're legally able to move out at 17, but that's a crazy age for girls, so I'd be wanting to make sure she had her head on straight before allowing it. But definitely 18. They've gotta start making their own mistakes eventually.

Anywhere from 16-20

This is the area in ones life which they should be getting a job or securing whether or not they want to go to college or both.

They should be financially responsible by 18 and have a good grasp on what they plan to do.

I think that if a kid is going to college that they should live at home until they are done with college or if they have a good job and are in college and mature then they should move out if they want to..
