Yes.
If you can't believe all of it, there is no reason to believe any of it.
In that case you are trusting in your own heart.
But your own heart can't save you.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6

Jesus Christ believed the whole Bible - including the story of Noah, Jonah and Adam and Eve.

Seeing as the most popular version of the bible was written in England in 1609, some 1600 years after the events it portrays there is NO way it has any base in fact.

Get real people it is a book of fables.

Yes, I do! If I thought the Bible was only "a bunch of myths and legends," then I wouldn't want to base my life on it, either. But that's not what it is—not at all.

This is why I invite you to discover the Bible for yourself, and not simply go on what you've heard others say about it. You see, the Bible tells us about real events and real people—people who faced the same challenges we do, and had the same hopes and dreams we have. But many of them had another dimension to their lives also: a spiritual dimension. The reason wasn't just because they believed in God, but because they knew God in a personal way. We can, too.

Most of all, the Bible tells us about Jesus Christ. It tells us who He was and what He did; most of all it tells us He was God in human flesh, sent from heaven to save us from sin and death and judgment. Do you honestly want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus Christ, for in Him "all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form" (Colossians 2:9). He proved it by doing something no one else has ever done: He rose from the dead.

Don't let pride, or fear, or anything else keep you from the Bible, and from the One who is its center: Jesus Christ. When you honestly examine it, you'll discover the greatest truth anyone can ever know: God loves you, and He will change your life as you open your heart to Christ.

No. Personally, I believe that the stories in the Bible were a way of letting our ancestors understand the power of the Lord. For example, if our ancestors read an article about the story of evolution (how monkeys evolved into humans), I doubt they would understand it. Today, we have technology which supports the ideas of evolution. I believe that the Lord is responsible for evolution as well

Nope. I agree with Jeff S. How come these things don't happen today?

It's so stupid. It's kind of like people believing everything in Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter really happened. How do you really know that some people just decided to write some fictional stories?

Some of the stuff in the Bible is symbolic, some are parables (stories or illustrations to make a point or explain something)....Not all Bible texts are written in a literal sense. You have to take that into consideration. But with those things in mind, I do consider the Bible to be the truth. John 17:17

Which version are you referring to?

I think the overall message of the Bible is true. I do think some liberties have been taken (albeit in the name of God) in translations. We are nuanced enough already with politicians, etc., saying every word in the Bible is true will not get my vote.

Yes, I believe our species started with a giant incest party and then an old man built a boat the size of the titanic made of wood to hold millions of species, more water than our atmosphere could ever hold magically appeared, and the incest fest started all over again.

Oh yes, I also believe in talking snakes.

Not Everything in the Bible is true BUT the bible is there as a guideline. There are stories that teach us about right and wrong and not to be afraid to turn to God. There are things in the bible that are obviously false such as the world was not created in 6 days. Science trumps that no problem. But it is a story to tell believers that God had a hand in their creation. Just because something contains fiction does not reject as a reliable source for things that don't just rely on the cold hard facts.

I apologize for my bad grammar but I have to go to class and would be happy to point out more fiction in the bible and its value to everyday life.

The only people that think its all true obviously havent actually read it.

Its complete nonsense from start to finish and is totally irrelevant to todays age. Its an obvious work of primitive fiction.
