I just bought it and I'm not sure to take it back or not cause I want my comforter to match the size of my sheets. I think my sheets may be a Queen size. Is there a way to tell if the sheets are a Queen size or not?

Queen size is bigger. Check the tags on the sheets. A Queen size comforter is better for a full size bed in my opinion, drapes over the sides of the mattress nicely, and less chance the covers will be stolen.

Size Of Full Size Comforter

The size of the sheets should be on the package and also on a tag sewn onto the sheet. No, a full size is smaller, not bigger. Comforters are often sold as full/queen size so that they will fit both beds. A full/queen size is a square.

The sizings are:

Twin
Full/Double
Queen
King
California King

So based on this, no the queen is larger than the Full, so if you want a bigger blanket that will cover your bed and drape over the sides, you'll need to exchange it for a Queen size or larger (we have a King comforter on our Queen bed actually).

Full size is smaller than a Queen...Look at the tag on your sheets & it should tell you what size it is. And if it doesnt then what size is your bed??? If your bed is a Queen size bed & your sheets fit it then you have Queen size sheets. I hope this helps! :)

Standard bed linen and comforter/blanket sizes
start at "twin",
then increase to "double" (also referred to as "full"),
then "queen",
then "king".

Of course, there may be intermediate or specialty/custom sizes, but, for your needs, the above list will suffice.

If the manufacturer's sale tag (the one that says "Do not remove under Federal penalty", which everyone is afraid of, so they don't, but it's actually only for the seller, not the owner?) is no longer on the bed (it might be tucked on the bottom of the mattress and/or bed spring), then go to the link, below, which shows standard (and non-standard) US and UK sizes.

Double, also known as full, is approx. 6" narrower than queen, although in comforters many are sold as double/queen since the sizes are similar. Usually they are labeled but a queen bed is 60" wide & a double/full is 54" wide.

Full is the same as a Double which is smaller than Queen size.. You'd have to measure them or else know what size your mattress is..
