The 10 commandments cover all the basics. If everyone would try to live by just those 10- the world would be so much better. Don't steal, don't cheat, honor or respect your parent-, don't kill, don't bear false witness against your neighbor- don't talk about others-. I don't see anything hard or wrong with the 10 commandments- we don't need to add or change- we as a society need to follow these, just as guidance for morals.

What is wrong with you people? You need someone else to tell you how to live your lives and how to think and how to act. Can you not go through life and think of others and how to be kind to people, etc and how to act? Obviously you lack something in your person that does not allow this, it must suck to be religious as you can not think for yourself, act in a good way, and have morals. You can only think how your are told to think by some book, act good because some book tells you how to act, and your morals all come from some book. That must suck, since you are always referring to some made up fake owners manual, instead of knowing how to drive. And FYI those ten commandments were made up by humans, as was the Bible, and your religion. Humans invented religion and all the holy books that go along with it, nothing faxed down by God.
And if you do not want to believe that, then let us have you fully follow the Bible and all the rules in it. That would be funny.

Yes, we need more than the Ten Commandments. They are the foundation, but mankind needs to obey all the laws of God to receive all His blessings.

Some Jewish theology puts the number of commandments in the Law at 613.

I think Jesus got that part right. If we are to learn what not to do, then we need an endless list of commandments. If we are to learn what to do, then we only need a couple.

I don't think we need 10. There's only 2 or 3 of them that are really worthwhile.

When Jesus said to love God with all your being and love others as yourself that covers a multitude of sin. If we love God with our whole being we won't want to sin at all. If we love others as ourself we will be good and kind and loving to everyone, therefore, not harming anyone.

We DO NOT need any more religious bs out there...alot of it just comes down to common sense...something that many people obviously lack.

No -- we need fewer.
In my opinion, we can get rid of a few of them. Our economy is based on coveting our neighbor's goods -- so we don't need it.
We also don't need the first three commandments.
