I own the cat in this picture, but I'm not keen on all the siamese "point" colors. (This cat is a Snowshoe.) I just put down lilac-point because I thought that's what it was, but I'm not 100% sure.

A lot of people are saying "blue point", but although it's hard to tell in the picture, his points are grey, not brown. Would this make it a lilac, and not a blue?

I had a lilac-point siamese, for 16 years, and I also showed him at Cat Shows.

And from your photos I can say that your cat is a blue-point. Bluepoints have slate grey nose and paw leathers, but the lilac point is pink grey, the same goes for the point, it's more of a pinkish grey.

Breeders can tell the difference between these 2 colors with their kittens by looking at their pads, it's what makes the difference.

That's a lilac-point, look at it's paws.

and BTW, Snowshoes do have the coloring of a siamese, it just have white too

My Sophie looks quite a bit like yours, and her new vet called her a blue point. I think.....she basically made it up but I think she called her a blue and white point tortie rather than lilac point.

Although blue can be quite close to lilac.....

Sorry I'm not more help.

Snowshoes don't have points like Siamese. They are just Snowshoes. They are wonderful sweet cats. I have transported a few for Siamese Rescue and they are always such sweeties.

It seems the color is closer to a blue-point than a lilac. Here's a pic of a blue-point. Much closer to your kitty - http://made-in-afrika.com/kittens2cats/LaBelle1.blue.point.siamese.cat.jpg

Looks more blue-point. Lilacs have an almost bluish-gray color. This is more a bluish-brown.
