ok well i have a dog and he is always jumping on my bed.
how can i make him stop?

Dogs get better at any behavior they get to repeat and will repeat any behavior they get rewarded for (like having a soft comfy place to sleep). The first step to changing the behavior is to stop letting him practice it. Keep the room off limits unless you can be there. If the dog jumps on the bed lure him off with a treat and ask for a sit stay. Give the dog treats for being OFF the bed. If he jumps back up, repeat this. You've got to be careful that the dog doesn't think that the game is jump on bed and get a treat for getting off. So reward the dog when he first comes in the room and doesn't jump on the bed (cause he just didn't or cause you told him not to).

of course, we've all tried the usual methods; beating your dog with a newspaper, screaming at it, locking it out of the house... but i've found Will Ferral's book on 'Dissing your Dog' to be massively helpful [watch 'Talladega Nights' extras for more]

Every time he gets up on the bed IMMEDIATELY tell him off. Square your body to his and look like you mean it. If you see him about to jump on the bed block him from doing it.

i honostly dont see a problem take him out of your room and close the door :) or put him out side he will get the message also just take time out and play with him get him pooped love hime :)
