If you love her, you can wait. Are you sure you aren't MY boyfriend... he wants to get married sooner than I do...i'm also getting my masters... weird! Are you by any chance in a long distance relationship as well?

What do you mean you can't wait that long?? As long as the two of you are together and happy, why does waiting a couple years to get married matter? I think that if you truly love and respect her, you'll support her decision. A masters degree isn't easy to obtain andit takes hard work. Planning a wedding while trying to focus on that would be near impossible! Let the girl reach her goals and then celebrate!

If you love her, you will think her worth the wait. Give her the time she needs to mature and establish herself. She needs to get her education and a good job before she marries and possibly has children.

Talk to her.

She is the smart one right now, wait until after her education.

OR, get married at a JoP, and have a renewal of vows celebration after she gets her masters and is settled down.

so its a few years later than you want. What is the big deal, she wants to get all the stuff done, and not have to worry about organizing a wedding. If she loves you, you'll both be together in this, and it gives you more time to find each other.

if you really care for her you will wait forever. Plus thats what getting married means, forever with that person. Most women want there school done before they get married.

You need to be patient. Let her get her degree. It's the single most important thing she will ever do for HERSELF. If you get married "now" she may never finish her degree. If you won't wait then you don't deserve her.

Why don't you pick a date in between? Late 2009 or early 2010? Then you'd both be satisfied!

Wow, that is quite a difference. This is something that you need to work out with her. Sit down and see if you can work out the pros and cons of both dates.
