Darwin neither proves nor disproves the belief of a author. His paintings does not even disprove Genesis, through fact the Bible additionally says that to God an afternoon is as 1000 years. Talmudic pupils have understood for millenia that element is perceived otherwise via mortal adult men and Divine Being. All Darwin's findings coach is that the howling of the backwoods American evangelicals is the sin of vanity, attempting to tension their God right into a mold produced from their very own constrained literalism. Richard Dawkins could be an atheist yet he has finished us all a provider via writing "the perfect coach in the worldwide", which outlines the proofs provided via scientists interior the century through fact Darwin printed his observations. God could or will possibly no longer exist, yet evolution is printed certainty.

We are not made in the image of a `god.` Certainly not the `god` that many people have an image of.
Consider this:
`God` is depicted as a man.
A man has a penis, so therefore `god` must have a penis. But if he does not eat or drink, why does he need a penis to get rid of excess water? Or, of it comes to that, the means of disposing what he has eaten, but obviously does not need to eat.
Still on the penis issue which is needed to perpetuate the species, what good is it to him? He doesn`t have a wife and, when, according to the bible, he wanted a son, he sent down a `holy ghost` to do the job. If you can believe that, and many do because they don`t stop to think about the logic of it, but some excuse had to be made to complete the story.
You are right.
Evolution is nothing more than religious hogwash when it comes to `gods` and humans.

God and the concept of God has evolved with every society that the earth hasknown of man. This may prove that man invented God and has nothing to do with evolution and any facts that science has uncovered. Real science has proof and evolution has more proof than most facets of science so with Hogwash you need to look at the varies concepts of God,santa claus, and the tooth fairy and too many others to list. Why don't you try using facts and sound argument to make your points.

No, that would pretty much make it clear there is no god, as everything adapts and changes w/ time. People are a full foot and a half taller than they were in the 17th century, have a larger brain, plant species pop up almost daily, along w/ animals, cross breeding and pollination, cloning, growing human body parts on non-human species, none of that is fiction, even if you dont believe in evolution. But if you asked me, god has regressed. First he was just a prophet, a saviour, now he's an all powerful ghosty goblin that makes people eat him to get to float in clouds when they die. YIPPY.

No, it just means that time doesn't exist. We see things in a sequence, but God sees things all at once. So, for example, I'm answering this question at the same time you're writing it in God's eyes. I think being created in His image has more to do with the theology of the body, not evolution.

NO! Why would God have to evolve for the evolution of this world and those on it to exist? You're comparing apples and oranges. The creator doesn't have to evolve for that which he created to evolve.

Ah, but if you really read the bible, you will notice that God, Satan, heaven and hell all have evolved through time. If you put Moses, Paul and a current Christian together in the same room, they would each think the other two were heretics.

You did bring up an interesting point. If god is god, and there is a god, wouldn't he have evolved by now? He's still a petty, little tribal war god from the near east.

I think God evolved to have a sense of humor after he created us. Which explains why some people were created without one, they are "in his image."

(Case point, on some of these answers...)

God DOES evolve: he/she evolves from believing he/she is the creator of the universe to disbelieving in himself/herself altogether. Intelligence is designed to go from blind faith to acceptance of science and the elimination of religion throughout the world. The problem is that before the last stage of atheism, civilization might be destroyed in the name of religion, long before humanity has the time to evolve out of it.
