Done this one before ---- egg goes into zip-lock bag filled with cotton balls, inside of a newspaper. Pack into zip-lock bag tightly. Then (cause they don't say you can't), spray foam insulation all over the inside of your box, place the zip-lock bag in, and continue until the whole box is covered. You can kick it or drop it all you want...it won't break

I did a egg drop in the 4rth grade.

I had the box, and I totally covored the egg with bubble wrap and stuffed the box so that there was no room for movement, and my egg didn't even have a scratch on it.

we had to drop our eggs from a building 4 stories high.

the applicable thank you to no longer crack an egg is to no longer hit it everywhere. on an identical time as styrofoam, padding and bubble wrap are sturdy the thank you to shrink ask your self, the egg continues to be hitting the standards of its field, and consequently risks breaking. try something that should 'droop' the egg, so as that it will no longer hit something on the way down, yet is springy sufficient that it will take in a number of the ask your self of the crash. Then very much pad around the suspended egg. That way, if it is not suited and the egg, although slowed down, nevertheless hits the standards of its field, a minimum of it's going to be padded to shrink the possibility of breaking. be helpful you try your theory previously bringing it to classification! desire that facilitates!
