Rev 21:3,4 Which part of this scripture do you look forward to the most??? :)

3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Which part do you look forward to in Pardise? I look forward to welcoming back our dead loved ones. Everytime we talk about it at the meetings I always get tears in my eyes, Imagine that time! Wow! Or, everyone being healthy! Can you imagine no pains?? Wow! What do you look forward to?

Wow!!! What great support to this answer!!! Wonderful answers!!! We really have to keep the "real life" real to us to help us through these last days, don't we? Yall have mentioned some wonderful things!!! I just can't wait!!!!! How wonderful!!! :)))))) Wow!!! Getting to meet all the brothers and sisters in the world, our united family... I truly find that one of the most awesome things. WE are a united family, now imagine in Paradise, the love!!! Wow!!! Our congregation is very close and I think about how in Paradise the love we have in our congregation, it will be even more earthwide with meeting all the brothers and sisters and welcoming back everyone that has fallen asleep in death... Gives me goose bumps! :)

Besides these things already mentioned and not necessarily a people person I'd love to see the the whole earth as it was meant to be.And with a full brain to work with the beautiful animals, birds ,fish and understand each as we should, plus the understanding of all vegetation and maybe minerals, and the food wow.Probally walk on grassy paths in the shade of trees instead of concrete and blacktop.Maybe long (years at a time) trips without looking at a watch on a horseback or camel etc. YAH- I can handle a lot of that. Having a good relationship with Jehovah himself and doing all these things without a questioning conscious.~~~Thanks for asking and Sugarpie for staring.

I too can hardly wait. I have a hard time choosing the one thing I would look forward to more than all else. When I was in the the early stages of grief over the deaths of my mother and grandmother (they passed in quick succession), I would have immediately said "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry". When I am in severe pain from double injuries I've suffered and the subsequent degenration of my spine, I take comfort in the fact that Jehovah will completely heal me and I won't have to take pills to get through my days and nights. The fact that all of the horrible effects of Adam's disobedience will have passed away is awesome to think about! I love the way Isaiah 65:17 says "the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart." Just imagine, all of the wickedness and misery of this old system will eventually fade from our memories!
Of course none of this would be possible if Jehovah God did not "reside" with us as he did with Adam before his rebellion. We will be able to draw even closer to our God! Can you imagine being taught by Jehovah himself without a visable representive? (Isaiah 54:13) That is how he instructed Adam. Perhaps we too will experience this. It is almost too wonderful to contemplate! I recall times in my life when I cried out to Jehovah and he comforted me as if wiping the tears from my eyes. But I look forward to his wiping EVERY tear from all faces because we will have no further reason to weep except with joy!

I love your question. I love it all but the most important part is looking forward to the resurrection......my uncle who was a witness fell asleep in death from a fatal heart attack. Now I would love to see all my family members that fell asleep in death. Yes I love what Teem said especially. I can't wait until the resurrection and the new system. Petting all the wild animals would be really great........won't be getting your head bitten off, lol

totally agree with Vot, NO MORE GLASSES TO WEAR, LOL!!

Wondering Faith........your name really is connected to you and your attitude because you are wondering around like a sheep who has lost his shepard. Maybe you can ask for a Bible Study.

You know I can't wait to see my Grandpa being resurrected. I never was able to meet him he died a month before I was born. They say I'm alot like him, I can't wait!!!
I would also love to meet my favorite biblical person. King David of the Ancient Israelites. I love studying about him and everytime I do I learn something new.
Another thing I look forward to is using 100% of our minds capacity. Imagine, now as imperfect humans, we use 10% of our minds capacity to think and remember. This being true we have come along way in technology, but more of this technology is harming our environment. I can only imagine what we will be able to do when pollution is no more and technology is at it's best. This will be VERY interesting.

Good Question!!

I think about this all the time and i have to say that eventhought i dont like to suffer or see others suffer, i kind of look forward to having a relationship with Jehovah as a perfect person. Like the scripture says on verse three. " he will reside with us forever" cannot wait!!

Also seeing my family that has fallen asleep. Sometimes i think about my great grandma seeing her for the first time since her death. she was such a funny person that sometimes i think about the first thing she will say. Probably a joke!! lol.. Jehovah's love is wonderful!!!

Everlasting life in itself (in perfect health - hey that rhymes) is what drives me... Imagine being able to devote a solid 1500 years to growing an apple orchard, and then moving on to pottery for the next 1500. When you get bored with that, dabble in astronomy for 100 years and spend 700 learning how to sew. While doing all this, use your spare time to figure out every possible use for the sweet potato (in which case I'd solicit the help of the resurrected George Washington Carver)...

The concept itself is amazing, and on top of that we'll have the relationship with Jehovah that He intended originally.

I look forward to seeing a close friend and elder from our congregation who died suddenly from a heart attack and several others who have died from our Hall. Also my sister who died in 1969 when she was 3 years old. She was struck by a car, received a blood transfusion and still died.
Praise Jah, I've been a witness since 1996.

Well..... there's a lot to look forward to..... I'll finally get rid of my glasses [what an inconvenience- can't play volleyball anymore :-( ]

Don't want to seem banal, but.... the food? :-D

EDIT: OH! From THAT scripture!!! (Silly me, thinking about food!!!) Definitely the assurance in the summary- that the former things have passed away!!!

there isn't a part of that i DON'T look forward too. mostly though i must say, "Death will be no more". I have lost so many friends and family members, I'm going to be very busy welcoming them back and teaching them about Jehovah, my first thousand years are gonna fly by.
